I got a bit of brush fever, and of course, the only cure is more brush. :) I have been looking for a nice butterscotch brush to restore for a while, and fell for this one. The green handle was an old Crabtree and Evelyn Boar. The butterscotch is now a 20mm Finest fan, and the green is a 20mm Best. Both from The Golden Nib.
If anyone has any information on the butterscotch, I would love to hear it. :)

If you have never restored a brush, but you have the tools, I highly recommend you give it a try. There are so many fantastic vintage handles out there, and it is pretty fun.

Wowsa! I would love to have either of those in my rotation. The green one would go well on my desk with all the green stuff there (school colors are green and white). However, I don't know why I would keep it on my desk and not use!

Actually these were both in pretty good shape, so I just applied a coat of Renwax.
