Nice Gs. The G injector is my favorite, so far.
I want one of those cast aluminum injectors. Of course, people in Hell want icewater, too.

I got this Schick Injector E2 today. It's in near mint condition and never been used (still had the blade blank in the razor). Plan to take this Bad Boy for a test run in the morning!

    Sunday morning,

Schick Injector Razor E2 w/ Personna blade,
    Rooney 1/2 "Super" Silvertip Brush,
MWF shaving soap w/ warm water lather,
finish w/ cold water rinse for a DFS!

I really like the Schick E2 razor! It gave me a near BBS shave with two passes, WTG & XTG.
The E2 has quite a bit of blade exposure and may not be a good choice for the new guy.

The "SHAVE-OFF" between the G2 and G3 gold Schicks is done! :bounce015: I used two new blades out of the same dispenser so all things would be equal. Used a vintage puck of Watkins Shave Soap (I think it's an old tallow shave soap... anybody know for sure?) in a really old Old Spice mug with a vintage Ever-Ready K40 badger brush. Shaved right side of my face with one... left side with the other. They were quite similar... both gave really good shaves, but I felt that the G2 (on the left in the picture above) gave the smoothest shave by a small margin and was equally as close as the G3, but both did very well on about a day and a half growth (I would say my beard is moderately tough). For injector lovers like me, either is a great find as far as I'm concerned.

The "shave-off" between the Schick G2 & G3 is done. Both gave excellent shaves. The G2 seemed to be a little smoother shave but still just as close. Either of them would be worth the hunt of looking for one if you're an injector-lover like me. OK, someone is going to have to tell me what I'm doing wrong... I just refreshed this page a couple of minutes ago and the post just before this one was missing. Now that I put an abbreviated version of it here, the previous post about the shave off reappears (so now I'm editing this post to try to figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong, since this isn't the first time this has happened to me here. Thanks for any assistance.

  8. I sold my injector and miss it more each day - great shaver.

Am looking for an injector with amber tone handle if you have an extra. I’ll sound picky but needs to be in great shape.

Thanks, Tom. It didn't take me long to figure out that "you were the guy" when it came to SE and Injector shavers.
I recently went back to using my old Schick L1/N3 and was please with the quality of the shave.
I now use one of several Schick Injectors on a pretty regular basis.

I do tend to blabber on and on about them, that's for sure!

Let's not use the term "blabber on and on" around here, please. I find it offensive.
Let's use the term "proclaim the virtues of" instead.
    Thank you.

    Just havin' fun.

Duly noted, and I will use the proper and acceptable vernacular henceforth.

And I would like to proclaim the virtues of Tom's Injector Support....Atta boy Tom...and you do have some beauties....But you've been stingy lately with the pics....Lets see your favotites from your collection...

And Nick, that is a great looking razor you scored there....I bet it does shave as good as it looks too....Funny thing about those vintage Schicks...If they haven't been abused they generally do shave....in the classic words of Tony...GREAT!!! And yours being "new", bet you'll be smiling for a while...:)

And cpool...Thanks for the Shave off...I hope you had as much fun doing it as we did reading it...:) I suspected they were great shavers...

And Capt. CP...Good luck with replacing that Schick...I hope you find it sooner than later..I don't want to imagine life without mine...Burrrr....If I had a nice amber handle, It would probably be on its way to you already...:) You should post on the WTB threads here and across the street...If I hear of any I'll get back to you...Theres alot of them around, but sometimes you don't see them very often...Guess people KEEP them...lol.

Well LLoyd, how about a glamour shot of all three adjustable models, M1, M2 and an M3, along with the blades I use?

I've got some of the Ted Pella Personnas, and some from CVS and actual Personna branded injector blades. The Personna are good blades but I've had some issues with the dispensers.
