I got this Gillette yesterday at an antique fair for a couple of dollars. I am excited to try it as it is my first adjustable! I have no idea what the setings will be like but hey, that's the fun of it!

Monday 7 November (Menthol Monday-TTO week)

An early shave since I am travelling out this morning, going back to IL to finish what I started. After reading Scott Wein's post about soap or cream, I realized that I had not used my Palmolive menthol cream in awhile, so I broke it out for Menthol Monday TTO. This is a nice cream with a good scent, and tons of menthol, a great wake-up. It also has some very good skincare properties, I should take this on the road with me, but the bag is already packed for the ongoing tour of hotel bathroom's.

The Gillette slim set on 6 seemed to do a very nice job today, a very good shave in three passes. Still a bit rough under the jaw, so I will give it a DFS. A nice frosty monday morning shave. Hope everyone has a nice week.

There's nothing like freezing your face off on Menthol Monday - the Palmolive Cool cream from the Balkans and the Barbon aftershave are 2 of the best Champions of Chilliness. Although the Rapira blade gave me another terrific shave, I think it's best to change it for tomorrow. :biggrin:
