2011 Holiday Wish List!

The Official Secret Santa Thread 2011 edition is up and running, so if you've signed up for it, how about dropping some hints here to make it a little easier on your Secret Santa.

This thread isn't just for the Secret Santa participants, it's open to all the TSD members to post their Holiday Wish List!

For our members that observe Hanukkah, feel free to list a gift for all 8 days.

And it doesn't have to be shave related either so I'll definitely be open to beer!

 

To get this going, I'll put my list together. I don't have any needs, so I'll just list products by category that I haven't used and I'd be interested in trying.

Razor: EJ 86/87/89, Merkur 45
Blades: No thanks, I have several years worth of blades I love
Brush: Nope, happy with what I have
Shave Soap: IK, Trumpers Violet Soap, TSD Iced Peppermint, vintage Williams, whatever your favorite soap is you want to share
Creams: Ingram's, what ever your favorite cream is you want to share
Aftershave: TSD Iced Peppermint, Speick Lotion (splash)
Accessories: A test tube rack big enough to hold razors, A blade bank (mine is ~75% full)
Not Shave Related: Any good french or triple milled bath soap, a fine nib fountain pen (low end range or you're spending too much!), anything Doctor Who related

Also, if you know me and think I'd like something else better, please don't feel limited to the list. If you don't know me, I think that should be enough variety to keep me from having any idea what your sending.

 

2011 TSD S.S. already! Wowzers Batman!

My wish list:

A CoonCatBob heavy handle for the 2011 Muhle R-41. (prolly too expensive though)
A bottle of Speick Splash
A tube of Noxzema Lather Shave Cream (I will keep dreaming)
Since I cannot get Noxzema, I would like more PREP brand creams, soaps, balms, etc...
A case of M&L Florida Water

 

Here's my wish list. It may seem random, but I haven't tried too much.

Razors: An adjustable Schick Injector (type M) or another injector...unless you have a Single Ring kicking around
Blades: Schick Injector Blades
Brush: I'm doing good here.
Soaps: Institute Karite; any DR Harris, TOBS, anything is fine
Creams: Anything is fine here
AS/B: Any gentle splash or balm (TSD Milk). My skin is finicky with these...so nothing intense.

I can't really think of anything specific I want or need but I won't sneeze at....

Soaps/Creams: TSD Yin Yang; Tabac stick; Nancy Boy Signature; European Palmolive GUT shave stick; Tet-a-Tet
Aftershave: Proraso Liquid Cream; Tet-a-Tet balm
Blades: Voskhod DE blades; Vintage Personna 74 (both DE and injector)
Miscellaneous: Original instruction sheets/pamphlets for a "red dot" Fat Boy and a "bottom dial" 195 Fat Boy

Other than those things, I love surprises too and non-shave related is perfectly acceptable, so.....

 

Great idea. We do this at church with the kids. The Secret Santa thing, not shaving.

Cream/Soap: MWF puck or Speick Shave Cream.
A/S: Speick A/S Lotion and Balm or I would like to try the Myrsol Green After Shave
Blades: Gillette 7 O'Clock Blues and Schick Injector Blades
Brush: Semogue 1305, SOC Cherrywood, or Vulfix 404

Other than that, just health and happiness.

I'd love another straight, something not from USA and bigger than 5/8.
Anything brush related is always good - A best or silvertip travel brush, knots, etc...

Don't really need any razors, blades, brushes, soaps, or A/S. Therefore, for my wish list is for WANTS:
Razor: Merkur 39c Slant, or a GEM Lather Catcher
Blades: Personna Barber, Lab Blue, Medical
Brushes: Chubby, or a custom 24mm x48" silvertip
Soaps and A/S: A TSD Gift Certificate to try more soap samples and colognes.

 

Dear Santa,

I was a really good boy this year and ate all my vegetables.......

I want to give the Irisch Moos and Speick shave sticks or Razorock XXX a try.
My only badger brush is a Tweezerman and I would like to move up a notch in quality from that. Nothing too floppy.
I just started using straights and am enjoying it alot. Maybe a straight??

I've always wanted to try:

Osage Rub
and the legend of the aggressive R41 intrigues me...

But honestly, I guess just surprise me. I'm pretty well set with blades and creams, I mostly use soaps, and could always use a variety in that.

Oh, I know, I've been interested in ordering a Semogue brush
