Hi there, great forum. Sadly I don't have an image to offer but I have pretty good Injector razor story. A couple months back after reading a shaving article on the art of manliness website I was inspired to begin wet shaving. I took the articles advice and talked to gramps to see if he was sitting on any old razors he wasn't using. He passed on to me an early 40's Injector Type E with a bakelite handle. The thing that I find so great isn't really the razor itself (though it shaves well). But he in boot camp when he joined the Minnesota 34th Infantry Division 'Red Bulls' during WWII. He carried this very razor with him throughout Italy and N. Africa for the entire war, still in its original case too. He mentions this as if it's a trivial detail of course, but it makes me feel differently about it. I love that this simple little razor has that history and after all these years I've polished it up and it sits in my medicine cabinet... and I shave with it every morning.

Very nice, thanks! That is one of the later Damaskeenes after the name was changed to Gem Safety Razor Corp from Gem Cutlery. Your other one is the early Gem Cutlery model.

l picked up this 1912 Gem Jr 0n eBay for a minimum bid of $0.99! It needed some major cleaning and polishing to remove verdigris and associated crud.

Well, simply amazing. Things do work better if you follow directions. I hope this scan shows up on here. This is one side of the instruction sheet that came with one of my G1 razors. Step #6 has resulted in me receiving a BBS. I had been trying to use it like a cartridge razor, duh.

If this is to small for some to read, let me know and I will post a larger image.

If that's not big enough you can quickly increase and decrease the size of the page by holding down the CTRLkey on the keyboard and scrolling up or down with the wheel on your mouse.

Yup. Or holding said key and pressing the "+" key to make it larger, or the "-" to make it smaller.

Picked this up recently and finally got a chance to use it this morning. It's an I1, but it's the somewhat rare model with the black handle and chrome head. Most I1's have the ivory handle and gold head. It shows some signs of usage but it was only $1 at an antique store!

    Nice, Tom!

I picked up a Schick I1 and a I2 recently (in separate buys on eBay) and both have the black handle and chrome or nickel head. Nice shavers!

That's cool, the black handle I1 doesn't show up much and here's two in a row!

I got both off of Ebay a while ago. Durring my last gig (aka business trip) I took both to try out for a long term use test I spent a month in a hell hole called Hunnington Beach Ca.). My results: I2s are outstanding shavers. Don't know if the levers and such are worth what Schick put into them but still, hands down, an outstanding razor. I1s are light, simple and easy to use. They seem to be a single edge version of the late Gillette Tech. You can shave like a raving idiot with an I1 and come out with a fine shave.
