Vintage brush should I use it?

    Hi just recieved a Vintage Culmak fifty-fifty shaving brush that i won on ebay (never used), just wondering what the feeling is, leave it as unused or shave with it?

    It does no one any good setting on a shelf collecting dust. Use it and enjoy it. You can admire it while it's in your hand and full of lather.

    Well I say use it cause thats what it was meant for and who better to appreciate using it than someone who loves the hobby. But I hold that opinion lightly as some never used shaving items I have I don't use, less out of the idea of preservation than I like looking at them as they are.

    Very nice. Does the bottom screw off? It looks like it does, and some do. If it does, use it as a travel brush and either put some cream in the handle or cut a shave stick to fit in there.

    It looks like it shoud screw off, I tried but no luck, I will give it another go after night shift.

    My gf's niece took delivery of my R41 today saw her unpack it on skype as well as some omega crean+brush and proraso ASB:) only 3 1/2 wks till I get them

    Do not use it if you purchased it as investment piece that you expect to get a $4.3 million return 12-15 years from now.

    If you didn't purchase it as an investment, then, by all means, USE IT!
