These last 2 shaves were to compare the Palmolive Cool cream from the Balkans to the version from Italy. Both are sensational and ALMOST identical - just the scent is very slightly different. The lather, menthol effect and skincare are practically the same. I'll soon need some more ISZ aftershave milk, because my bottle is almost empty. :biggrin:

Well I listened to Johnny and he was right, the ducky did help the lather of the Godrej. Big piles of chilly lather. This was a three pass DFS for Thanksgiving.

This is not the original ducky, found him in my daughters room, but the new and improved ducky rides today...

Thanksgiving, day 4 of SC week shave:

• Merkur Progress (set at 5)
• Gillette 7 O'clock super stainless (2)

• 26mm TGN silvertip reknot in a green Ever Ready handle
• St. Charle's Shave Refined AS

I don't think I've ever gotten a bad shave from the Progress. The 7 O'clocks did well again and the Refined AS is really nice. Hitting the road really early Saturday morning so I probably won't get a shave in today with the rest of my visiting I gotta get in, but if I do I'll catch it up on Sunday. Tomorrow will be on the road for 14+ hrs so I doubt I'll get a shave in then either, but the R-41 will just have to earn it's keep Sunday morning I guess

I woke up early and took myself out for a Bagel and Cream Cheese and a Cup of Coffee with one more to go. I'm working on the second half of the bagel and second coffee now.

Another nice shave served up by the Gillette 7 o'clock Sharp Edge (Yellow). I continue to work on my technique and watch videos, always looking to learn. Not to mention how much I learn here.

The Palmolive Lemon doesn't creat the lather of the Classic or the Menthol, but is very slick. It lathers best on the face and has a nice scent. That said, I wish it made pools of lather like there other products.

Have a little bit of a headache so I am gonna chill a bit, and maybe do my part for Black Friday by placing an order with our beloved Queen. I need milks and I want to try the soaps.

Going to be on a MWF & Floid Blue diet for a few days breaking in a new brush. I know the Floid Blue has absolutely nothing to do with breaking in a new brush, but I just love it, especially after a MWF shave. It is starting to break in nicely and building/holding a good lather.

They don't come much better.
Bombed Maca Root; I wasn't crazy about the scent at first, but I'm really getting to like it.
The Cool Mist was a sample I received from JoAnna (thanks again!). Not very cooling, but the scent is fantastic! A hint of clove. Absolutely incredible. Even Becky likes it, which is a plus!!
