  1. 4'8"?
  2. That sounds a little tall.

  4. Gaaah! I am so on edge, today. Just freaked out over a bag of cereal because it tore when I tried to open it. It wasn't worth the tirade of swearing that ensued. I put on my headphones earlier and started rocking out to some techno and working on a puzzle and all I could think about was work. Now I just feel like a powder-keg at a match factory.
  5. everything old is new again.

I do the same thing with beer brewing gear.
  6. Hey, I know the feeling from time to time (too often, really). The stupidest, most trivial things can really get me boiling sometimes. And then sometimes (rarely) I can be calm through a major ordeal.
    Usually though, I'm the former.
    It's frustrating.
  7. In other news, I may have just found a reason to go to Best Buy for black Friday....$250 Asus Transformer tablet....
  8. I don't know if there is anything that I would get out of bed at 1 AM to stand in the Best Buy line for. I did it a few years until they started handing out vouchers to the people in the front of the line for all the good items leaving nothing for those of us further back in line. Nothing like standing in line for hours in the freezing cold for everything to be spoken for before the doors are even open.
  9. yeah, don't think I'll be doing it, it's just a compelling deal....unless I can sell a kidney or something, can't do it anyway
  10. It has been a long and very blessed day. We start our day with our water aerobics class.

Our church was providing groceries for families in need for Thanksgiving.. It included a turkey and other supplies for a dinner. My wife and I helped pack and distribute the groceries with others.
It is a blessing to serve others in need.

Wishing everyone a very blessed Thanksgiving.

  11. UUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

Made it all this time successfully avoiding the infamous "Friday" song...then a little bit ago while perusing Black Friday ads, saw some comments about an irritating Kohl's commercial for BF, using the music of the song.
Not 20 seconds after reading that comment thread, guess what comes on the TV.....(if I hadn't read the comments about it before seeing it, I wouldn't have known that was the song - so, my success at avoiding was pretty darned good, but unfortunately, not permanent)
  12. KOHLS = ADS THAT NAG!
  13. Indeed!
However, they're better than Old Navy ads.....glad I've never had a pistol near when one has come on

  15. Speaking of annoying ads.... I did chuckle with the security guards screaming like middle school girls over beiber
  16. I didn't chuckle. It was more like belching from severe indigestion!
  17. Saw someone wearing this in a store.

    'nuff said!
  18. SOO TIRED! I got like 2 hours of sleep last night! Work is going to be interesting today. I have a staff meeting and people are starting to bug me about stuff I am not even thinking about until next week. It doesn't help I was off sick yesterday too. If working today isn't bad enough...my nephews are coming over because Mario is in town doing a tour of his new games, so I am taking them to that...then they are staying for pizza....I don't know how long I am going to last....already....burning..........out.:sleep025:
  19. that kohl's ad is in heavy rotation on the radio down here. worst part is I don't think there are any kohl's in mission/ mcallen so they're pointless.

  20. Heard about a lady at Walmart using pepper spray on others to keep them away form the merchandise she wanted to buy. I can honestly say I am happy to be working in my little cubicle up here in Alberta (although the States does know how to hold sales at SALE prices!).
