    Thursday Afternoon Shave

Hot Face Towel with Lucky Tiger Lemon Cream
Lucky Tiger Brushless Shave Cream- just massage into wet beard w/fingers.
    Old Type Razor w/Treet Blade
    Lord and Master A/S

A bit different using a brushless cream but it worked better than I remembered, smooth comfortable shave.

I certainly hope everyone who celebrated had a nice Thanksgiving yesterday.

Friday's shave had a squirt of TBS Maca Root cream and three drops of TSD M Bomb. After yesterday's somewhat thin lather, I made sure I started with a well-rung out brush, my Omega 10098, to be precise. Added a few drops at a time and was rewarded with a wonderful lather. The cooling effect of JoAnna's M Bomb set the shave off as a perfect 5 Blade shave.

By the way, had an ASR Platinum Chrome loaded up in a Gillette NEW, then finished off with a sample of Cool Mist from JoAnna.

Saturday - starting to get a feel for lathering creams. Between yesterday and today's lather, I'm seeing an improvement.

Today was a dollop of TOBS Avocado, aka "Pumpkin Guts". I like it. Always reminds me of cleaning and carving pumpkins with the kids way too many years ago.

Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive about using a cream today. Saturdays I always use a straight razor. I've tried an assortment of soaps, but TSD always seems to provide me with the best glide. Wanting to keep with the theme week, I used the TOBS; not bad. Not as slick as TSD soaps, but it didn't feel like the blade was sticking or skipping along my face.

Brad, you are a lot like me - I'm curious to know how you got your Bulgarian Viking cream. You seem to like a lot of the same stuff as me! :)

    Sunday Shave

    Old Type
    Lord Blade
    Superlather VDH + Williams
    Omega Boar
    Thayers Witch Hazel

I make superlather in a lazy but for me effective way. I swirl the brush over the soap 50 times then add cream to the cup and swirl another 50 times. A thick heavy lather, the way I like it, quickly results. Nice to have participated in cream week I will use my creams more on a daily basis .

    Hot Shower
    Omega 48/Proarso Shave Cream
    Gillette FH Tech/Voshkod
    Proarso Balm.
    A DFS.
This has been a great theme week for me. Alpha sent some creams just in time for this. I have really enjoyed learning how lather creams and using the various creams. They will have a permanent palce in my rotation.

It ended with a bang...Prorasso Green SC and Pre/Post Balm. On a Gillette Yellow (5) it delivered the best shave ever.

I am going to recreate the shave tomorrow and the Yellow is asking for the Ball.

Sunday - TSD Wheat Cream Cedarwood.

Still trying to get the right water/cream ratio. A great shave, though.

    alpla444 That's sweet!

Great theme week for me, as I got maximum usage out of my scuttle, as well as a revisit to some creams (i blame the kent soap for that);). loving the theme weeks in genaral and I take part when I can, takes the decision making away from me in my rotation:)

This was a very good week for me as well. I'm glad we had cream week as it forced me to really try and get the most out of what I had. I enjoyed myself and feel like I can use and keep the CO Bigelow now. I had never really got a great lather or results with it before.
