My Super Speed/Rapira/Tibet Forest Fresh cream combination gave me a fantastic shave with no nicks, irritation, or any other problems. This Bangladeshi-made cream has so much lather to it that you need only a small amount. The menthol effect is really good also, and it lasts! ;)

Blade: Gillette Super Platinum (SP) (1)
    Brush: Omega Boar
    Soap: TSD Irish Spring Style
    A/S: Master Bay Rum
    EDT: Drakkar Noir

For the next week or two, I will be doing combo shaves or just using a DE to test a blade that is new to me: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum (blackish packaging). I was nearly DFS after a WTG and XTG pass with the DE. Had I done one more WTG pass with the DE, I would have had a BBS shave with just the DE. I opted to use a straight for the third pass and wound up with a BBS shave anyway. The Master Bay Rum and Drakkar Noir are one of my favorite weekend combinations and left me smelling wonderful for Sunday morning Mass.
  14. Sunday

    Muhle R106

    DR Harris Marlborough soap
    DR Harris Marlborough AS

I opened up one of my secret Santa gifts to use this morning. I honestly can't believe how easy and well this soap lathered. Just like the TOBS yesterday, it was a dream! It has a wonderful scent, doesn't dry my face and bulds into a luxurious lather instantly! Thank you Secret Santa for this wonderful gift!

  20. Well.....I changed things up abit.
Instead of using my daily driver Gillette fatboy,I went over and barrowed 1 of my dads Gillette super speeds. Its kinda funny because he didnt even know what brand of razor it was or what model but he has 2 of them because the 1st one did a good job so he bought a 2nd :) So I traded him my fatboy for his super speed. Well not really a trade since he hasnt shaved in years more like a deposit :)
Anyway....Seemed to do a very good job 1st time around. A bit more aggressive then my fatboy even with it cranked to#9 on the adjustment.
The super speed is much lighter then my fatboy but fit my hand very well and was very comfortable. I did have to make slight adjustments to pressure as it is slightly lighter.
But overall I am very pleased with its preformence and this just might replace the fatboy.
I am also curious as how a Feather AS will compare to this super speed since I've heard some comments that say the AS is pretty aggressive.
I've also ordered some new goodness from bullgoose in the shape of proraso white and some razorrock original and a sample pack kit of blades. Very excited for this stuff to get here.
See you guys are starting to cause me to branch out and try new things.
    Thank you!
