Went to an auction yesterday, I had no real intention of bidding. Just went for the entertainment value of people getting into bidding wars. It was raining and also an outdoor auction, lots of things were ruined (IMHO) by the rain, but that didn't stop people from buying it. I was entertained:happy102
Hi there Tim, I just happened to notice (actually, it finally dawned on me....heh), that you have 'automaton' in your name. Is there a special meaning about that? Reason I ask is that I've seen a few automatons perform, and they're one of the most amazing things........ You hooked into them somehow? I saw Ricky Jay put on a show long ago, and he brought a few of his favorites. Truly little wonders, not unlike some incredibly complicated music boxes. Anyway, didn't mean to pry............well, maybe a little....hehe. Martin
Anyone read Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter? I finished it a couple weeks ago and found it amazingly clever.
Have not read it. I better get a copy though because I am pretty sure that when Tim Burton finishes his movie adaptation, SWMBO will want to go see it. The book is always better than the movie. IMHO.
I didn't know Tim Burton was doing this. I really don't think he's the right guy for the job. But, I'll try to keep an open mind and hope he surprises me.
