I agree, but the way it was posted if you happened to click on the picture it would overfill the computer screen. But, make no difference to me, either way is fine.

    Gillette Tech-gold/fat handle
    Feather Blade
    Spieck Lotion
    Phyto Expert AS Balm
    Music-The Pogues

-Wilk stick provides very nice protective lather, minimal scent-color is bizarre-looks like it was made in a lab.
-Phyto Expert Balm has some nice menthol in it-I'm running out of my samples from the great Russian Import-hope I can get more of that one day
-back to work, have a great day friends

    Wednesday

    Prep: Hot shower, soak brush
    CD: Third Day ~ Time
Coffee: Home roasted, fresh ground Kenya Safari Ridge, BLACK
    Soap: TSD Iced Sweet Tea
Brush: Omega 49, the RED one
    Razor: Gillette OLD Type
Blade: Voskhod, day 3, 3 passes
Post: Cold water rinse, Brut ASB, Brut cologne, hand strop blade

    Shave Rating: 4 Blades

The OLD and Voskhod made for one aggressive combo. A little blood along the rights side of my chin, but nothing serious.

    Wednesday:

Real Shaving Facial scrub followed by Proraso Pre/Post
    Kai Captain Excelia Japanese style
    Vie-Long Horse Hair 12601 Brush
    Vitos Green Soap
Alum Block followed by Proraso Pre/Post
    Italian Floid A/S

Another two pass with touch up BBS shave. The Kai blades really are quite forgiving. I could get sloppy if I use these for too long!!!!

Thoughts on Napoleon's Violet scent/performance? I'm intrigued by the Razorock lineup. Thanks!

Great performer one of the best soaps I have used, the Violet is sweeter than say Trumpers Violet; my personal favorite scent so far is the Muget De France.

For a more detailed answer you can read my article on the stuff here.

    Brush: Omega Boar
    Soap/Creme: Cella
    Razor:Gem 1912
Blade: Whatever it is that they Sell at Walgreens
    Pre: hot towel
    Post: alum plus witch hazel
    Hair Groom: Jeris w/ oil
Result: It has been a while since I pulled out my SE razor, but I got one of the closest shaves I've ever had with it. The downside is that the combination of being a bit out of practice with it and my having had a rougher than usual shave yesterday meant that, while it was BBS, it also has left me a bit raw, hence the alum block and witch hazel, instead of my currently preferred lilac vegetal splashes. Still, it was amazingly close shave, and nothing is quite like the sound a 1912 makes when it mows down whiskers.

Thanks Jeff. I think it becomes the old challenge of how to make the same thing fresh every day by adding a twist or two.
