    :santaMERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL:santa
A long hot shower, in hopes the stiffness would loosen.
While shower LuJin Badger was soaking awaiting to lather Mama Bear's Hydrogen. The LuJin whipped Mama Bear's Hydrogen into snowy mounds of lather.
The Gillette Open Comb readied with a Feather blade, awaited to glide across the slick surface of my face. Three comfortable passes that were nearly effotless.
Rinsing my face with warm water, I splashed polar water to my face several times, afterwards I patted my face dry. I liberally applied Thayer's Witch Hazel, after that dried I rubbed Fitness Balm into my face.
To all merry gentleman and fine ladies, HO, HO, HO, Merry Christmas!

    Slanty Shave #2-Merry Xmas

After a huge win for the Giants, I went in for a long shower and a long shave before dinner.

The slant is a beauty to shave with and it's all in technique. If you treat Slanty right, Slanty will give you a great shave.

    EBC Preshave
    Vulfix 404 Mixed
    Palmolive Menthol
    Merkur 37 C Slant
    TSD Bourbon Vanilla Milk
    Alcalado Glacial

This slant thing is gonna be fun!

    madmedic Resistance Is Futile

    Wednesday to Friday

    Hot shower
Feather Artist Club SS with a Super Professional
    Turkish No6 Horse Hair Brush
    Arko Shave stick
    Alum Block
    Boots Freshwood A/S Balm
    Tesco Cool A/S

I was in Ireland for a few days visiting my family. I was taking checked in luggage so I included my Feather AC. The rest of the stuff I keep at my parents for the occasional hand luggage only weekend.

    Saturday (Christmas Eve)

Hot shower and ASDA Facial Scrub
    Feather Artist Club SS
    Semogue 1250 Brush
    Col Conk Bay Rum Soap
Alum Block followed by Proraso Pre/Post Cream
    Fixegoiste Ice A/S

I have had great shaves all week. I find I prefer the Feather blades to the Kai Titan mild. The Feathers are smoother....and although they have a shorter life.....the Kai blades DO start to rust. Today's shave was a good preparation for night duty!

    Feather All-Stainless Razor
    Feather Blade
    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Simpson Eagle 3 Best

The Eagle certainly is dense! I thought my Harvard 4 was dense. Does anyone have comments on the density of the Eagle compared to the Chubby series? Are the Chubbies as dense or even more dense?

Very nice kit. I wish I had a few more Simpson brushes to make the comparison, but my Chubby 2 Best is definitely a densely packed brush.

    Saturday, December 24, 2011 - Today's the day!
    1. Prep: Hot shower; CB Super Sensitive facewash; hand strop blade
    2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground Costa Rican w/ cream
    3. Lather: Speick cream - face lather
    4. Brush: Simpson's Commodore X2
    5. Razor: Gem MMOC
    6. Blade: Pella SS PTFE coated (4); 2+ passes
    7. Post: Cold water rinse; Captain's Choice Bay Rum mixed w/ California Baby super sensitive face lotion
Didn't have much to shave this morning and I probably should not have done the "+". This was my first use of a cream since receiving my MWF last week. I went with one of my favorites and I must say that I'm becoming a soap guy. My soaps really are slicker. While I love the smell of my creams, I think that my soaps may be winning out for now. Now to just decide which one I'll use in the morning for my Christmas shave!

It's very nice-soft but has some spine (if it ever gets sciatica I'll give you a call;)). It did a very nice job lathering the Williams, it also blossomed
out nicely-pic was taken before it was ever actually used.

Ohhh, can't wait to see a post-bloom shot. I've been curious how much those bloomed. It'd be my pleasure to do all I can to assist you in a time of need. Hopefully, though, there will be no need!
