    Slanted Shave #12

I shaved late yesterday so went xtg and atg for a super smooth slanted shave. Today's featured product (image from razors 4 u) is Mitchell's Wool Fat. Along with Cella, my two newest soaps have quickly become my two favorites. I always feel so clean when I use MWF, and wish my grandmother was alive to "check behind the ears" before school that's how clean I smell and feel.

The Slant is unreal, no razor has ever performed so well on my face. This is more fine tool then razor, and a fast friend.

    Today's Kit

    Proraso Pre and Post
    Vulfix 404 Mixed
Gillette 7 o'clock Platinum Black Ninja
    Merkur 37 C Slant
Pinaud V. I. Bay Rum for a 39 degree Florida Morning

    Wednesday
    EJ DE87
    Astra Superior Platinum (Stropped)
    EJ Pure Badger Brush
    EJ Sea Buckthorn Cream
    Cold Water Rinse
    Old Spice Original A/S

This morning, I can't even describe properly. Felt like the ideal shave, probably thanks to the Astra - it performs flawlessly with my face, no nicks, scrapes, weepers, anything, just a butter smooth glide. I somewhat like the scent of the new Jagger cream, it's quite citrusy (Is that even a word?), my wife loves it, but I'm not completely sold on smelling like a Christmas Orange. It's saving grace is the solid performance it has with the lather though.

I wonder what next week will bring, all the new blades I bought to try have a LOT to shoot for if they want to move into Astra's spot as my number one blade.

40F is downright balmy compared to this morning. At least the winds died down. Last night we had 20 mph winds with gusts near 40 mph.

    Walking the dog sucked...

I lived it for years, having a job that traveled year round and being based in NY. I still did need a little Bay Rum to warm up ;)

What is it like Jeff? I was given a tube , but dont want to open it unless it is something special. At the moment I seem to use more soaps than creams.
