2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground Costa Rican w/ cream
3. Lather: RazoRock XXX - face lather

5. Razor: Gem MMOC
6. Blade: Pella SS PTFE coated (9); 3 passes
7. Post: Cold water rinse; Kiehl's Balm

This is the most consecutive days that I've used the MMOC, and for that matter the most consecutive days shaving period. I'm only able to do this because I can now shave with very little to no irritation. I guess my technique is still improving which just makes this that much more fun. Thanks to all the Denizens for your continuous help and encouragement!

Result - Damn fine shave

This razor is a tricky one for me, it was cheap and I don't think its great quality. It never gets really sharp, today I tried it out on my new Naniwa 12K, the results were pretty much as good as I get with it although it does do a little better on Crox. Despite being less sharp than my other razors it still delivers a decent shave.

 

Brian, it is excellent stuff. I was told by a guy that it's like medical anesthesia to the skin, because it freezes and numbs the skin, so you won't feel any burning and irritating sensation, and in a way, that's true. It leaves the skin feeling super-clean, and it also disinfects. If you ever would nick yourself, it contains chlorophyl which stops bleeding immediately. Does it ever lather up rich and thick!

Love the set up......Shaving porn is the only waty to describe it. How do you find the NF brush? I am falling in love with them!

Result: I have been experimenting with canned goo for 10 minutes as a pre-shave, and am finished with my experiments. It does seem to work decently, but is so nasty on my skin, that it is just not worth using as a pre-shave, and the results are little better than a minute with a hot towel (which actually feels good). I did get a very good shave, but I attribute that to a fresh Astra blade in my progress and Poraso's bullet proof lather.

Easy 2-Pass DFS!

Yup, it is the Bull Mastiff handle from BRW and it completes the beast! This is the only razor I have been using for awhile now except for an injector shave the other day and one go with the cracked quack restored by Glen.
