    I'll use a dremel to take off the nub and then polish.

    stony, I use a micro mesh progression then wheel buff.

    Me too, but no wheel, all on the lathe at max speed.

    Nope, all sanding with the micro mesh is done as slow as I can. Buffing on a cotton wheel, I'd guess 1600 - 1800 rpms.
