My psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I want a second opinion. He said okay, you're ugly too.

Been fighting a cough. This morning I'll be going to the dentist to get a cavity that fell out replaced and then to the doctor for my lungs. At least the weather is nice.

Glorious weather for wells, here! There's a chance of flooding. Yay!

And I kind of mean that sincerely. My well is hurting for the water table to return to it's normal levels. I grow weary of bathing at someone else's house, but I'm thankful to have such a good friend.

I can't wait for the month to be over....and it's only he 9th! I'm getting ready for the second week of complete stress at work. Luckily itshould be over in 2 weeks.:(

The only upside is this week's (school) assignment is pretty easy.

Picked up 2 nails in my right front tire on the way to work this morning. Didn't realize it until a coworker came in and told me I had a flat. Went to two gas stations both with out of order air pumps until I decided to go get it fixed. $18 and my tire is good to go....

    Farking Monday....

It is indeed Monday-tastic. Somehow, I've got to pull a working laptop out of thin air and have it set up for a new staff member--Today. Ugh.

On an up note, however, I finally decided on a compressor. I picked up the little 2 gallon campbell hausfeld that comes with a brad nailer. I figure for the few small projects I have to do, it should suffice. Also, it'll be nice airing up the tires on the mower with something other than a foot pump!

The store only had one box in stock and it had been opened. Waited 20 minutes while they tracked down somebody who could help, we went through the box together and saw that everything was there, including paperwork--so I bought it. Got it home and unpacked everything. It was then that I discovered that the paperwork included the receipt where some guy had bought it online for half what I paid for it and returned it. There was even a shipping return label inside!

So, I hooked it up, everything seems to work fine. I guess he didn't realize it was going to be so small and so he returned it without even using it. Oh well, it should be just what I need, so I'm not going to bother with taking it back to the store.

Nice. I have a little ~2 gallon hotdog compressor. I picked it up at a garage sale for $20 a few years ago. The turn off valve sticks at times, so i have to tap it with a hammer sometimes. If you have some extra room, you might consider getting a valve replacement for a gas grill canister. They work well for quick fill ups so you don't always need to break out the compressor.

The daughter and I both have Bronchitis. Thankful for insurance as we're both on medication now. Thankfully it's not too bad and I can be back at work tomorrow.

TWGW's new tablet (less than a month old) is not working right. It's supposed to take 5 hours to charge, but the battery indicator is all screwy on showing that it's charging. It's probably just a glitch with the indicator software not refreshing as the device charges, but she's convinced it's broken. I was up until 2:00 trying to help her sort it out. Got a follow-up with my doctor this afternoon right after work... I am too tired to be of any use to anyone.

OK, not recovering as fast as I expected. Taking another day off. I almost went into work, but TWGW convinced me it was a bad idea. I'm sure I'll be more productive tomorrow after another day of rest.

My mom lives near Edmonton! It takes a special kind of crazy to tolerate those conditions. Oh, and your avatar just reminded me that I have Westworld arriving from Netflix either today or tomorrow. Small world and all that...

I spent a year in wainwright so the winter warfare is never that big of a deal for me- though no matter what I don't like a trench at -50, I can tolerate it ;)
