    Tuesday:
    Omega 10029 Baby Pro, boar
    Gillette Senator/Rapira SS (D2)
    Arko Shave Stick/Arko Max.Comf. SC
    Arko-Nem, mango/mandalina scented moisturizer
    Rebul Lavanda Colonia
This is one of those combination of all favorites....

The Arko Uber-lather of the Shave-Stick/SC lays down a supurb fool-proof carpet of protection....And the Omega Baby-Pro holds enough of it to shave 3 men and a French Poodle  And the small size makes it so easy to put the lather right where I want it.

The Senator/Rapira Combo works like a charm...I can really just let the weight of the razor do the work...It feels like Stingray's quote, "a whisker Squeegee."...All the Open-Comb posts I've read have always peaked my interest. Well this last week has made a believer out of me. I know they are all different just like guard-bar razors, but this Gillette TTO Open-Comb is just about perfection for me...

I've been a big fan of the Arko-Nem line of moisturizers and the Mango/Mandalina is my favorite scent in that line...

Afterwards a healthy Splash of Rebul Lavanda Colonia feels invigorating and smells great !!

I feel GREAT!! :happy108: HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYBODY !!!

    Dovo Natural
    The Dridecker
    Williams Mug Soap
    Alum Block
    Witch Hazel
    Afta Fresh Balm
    Tabac After Shave

    :happy036:
Took my new razor out for its first run today and it was a good shave but not as close as I'm used to. Guessing it'll take a few days to learn how it likes to work.

    Tuesday, January 10, 2012 - Cream Annihilation
    1. Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar; hand strop blade
    2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground Costa Rican w/ cream
    3. Lather: Speick cream - face lather
    4. Brush: Frank Shaving Finest
    5. Razor: Gem OCMM
    6. Blade: Pella SS PTFE coated (4); 3 passes
    7. Post: Cold water rinse; Kiehl's Balm
Already learning how to use the cream a bit better. I can easily get a very thick and cushioning lather with Speick. However, I prefer a slicker lather but have had some issues in the past with going from thick to way to thin because I added too much water too quickly. Today, however, I got a great lather that was very slick. Not quite as slick as my MWF lather but still very good. A 3 pass BBS and as usual the Kiehl's leaves my face feeling wonderful!

Shave Rating - Splendid! God Bless!

    Tuesday Morning went as follows

    Pre: Hot Shower
    Razor: Merkur 23c
    Blade: Feather
    Brush: Omega Boar
    Soap: Proraso White
Post: Thayers WH, Cold Rinse, Gillette A/S Gel

Overall, it was a good shave, but being the first Feather I've used in about 3 months, it was a bit rough.

Have a good day ladies and gents!

    Tuesday 10th January

Hot Shower and Groomed Face scrub
    Proraso Pre Shave cream
    Feather Artist Club SS
    Frank Shaving Berwick in Finest
    Ingram Shaving Cream
    Alum Block and 444 ASB
    Fixegoiste Ice AS

My menthol day is 24 hrs late!! Groomed is a new range from The Real Shaving Company which is only sold in Asda in the UK. Menthol and Peppermint based.....they are really inexpensive and great performers. Just took my time today, and enjoyed the menthol kick. Ended up near BBS with two passes and a touch up.
Most definitely a Champagne quality shave for Beer money.

I agree entirely. I use the Vitos Green version. It always produces an exceptionally slick and protective lather. When I use a new razor or blade .....it gives that extra bit of protection. I cant understand why I don't see it mentioned more often

They are both great products. I don't know what is in the Floid Blue but it mysteriously turns a near BBS shave into a full blown BBS shave. ;)

I kinda had in mind what I was gonna shave with today (I shaved in the evening today as I was up at 0430 for work) and this was not it, changed my mind as i was getting my gear together, First time I have used the BK12 since I got back from holiday

    hot shower
Gillette 59 Fatboy (set to 7)
    Astra (D-3)
    Kent BK12
    Tabac cream
    Alum block
    Becker scuttle

DFS yet again really enjoying my vintage razors at the moment, The BK12 didnt waste any time getting a lather with the Tabac
I will give the R-41 a run out when I have finnished with the Astra blade and maybe try a feather in it;)

    Tet-a-tet ASB

The blade died on the first pass and I don't know why I didn't change it. A couple of nicks, small cut and niiice burning feeling from putting on some alum. Tet-a-tet balm did a nice job of calming everything down. I'm smooth, but my face becomes too sensitive to cold now. And it is -29C outside in the morning. The woman in TV box said the emergency cold is coming to us next 2 weeks. Down to -50C at nighttime and -35C in daytime. Do I still need some menthol?:think002:
