Feel like a bucket of crap even after sleeping for 12 hours. I have to put in an appearance at work today, hence the shave. I didn't know what blade was in the razor until afterwards when I opened it and looked. Not a bad shave, but definitely the last shave for this blade.

 

A Shave in Honor of Joanna

When I returned from work, there was a big box from our Queen. I had to run out, so I didn't get to play with my new toys until this morning. I smelled everything, made room in my den, which is one chair away from offering shaves, and selected what would become today's shave:

I bowl lathered the cream, and treated myself to an absolutely wonderful relaxing morning to myself shave.

Thursday night spent the night away from home and didn't pack shave kit. When I got home yesterday I didn't get the chance to shave til after 8:00pm so I decided to wait til today. 11:00am I had plenty of time, so I enjoyed every minute. I think I gave a new meaning to BBS for me....But probably caught up in the romance of the moment....such a wonderful shave...

Now 7 1/2 hours later, still feeling...GREAT!!!

For awhile now I've been taking Saturday's off, but I've had my Cella sitting in the hall linen closet since Monday anticipating this weeks maiden voyage for this new to me soap. I know better than to rate something after just one use but I don't think I've ever had such rich, thick, slick lather in my almost 2 years of traditional wet shaving, and I've got some great soaps and creams in my den. If Cella keeps giving me what I had today this could literally turn me into a 1 product guy.

Just a pleasure to sleep in, then take my time with a shower and shave as good as this. The Premier did a nice, smooth job without drawing blood. Gotta like that.

 

I swinging towards the vintage myself at the moment and its the fatboy thats winning me over, even pushing the slim into joint 2nd with the EJ89L, gonna get a Gillette aristocrat and see what that can do for me

Next time, try the Proraso Pre Shave Cream with the green cap.

 

I looked for it, but unfortunately Shoppers Drug Mart didn't have any in, I was happy as hell though they had some Proraso stuff left with their sale, so I tried out the green tub and the pre shave. Loving it...well, the scent on the green is OK, but the menthol feels fantastic.

 

The green cap pre shave will really give you a menthol kick. Some don't like the green tub soap, but I love the menthol eucalyptus smell.

As everyone morning I start with a hot shower, while showering the brush for that day warms.
Brush; Omega Mighty Midget
Soap; TSD Sweet tea.
Razor; Gillette Gold Ball End Tech
Blade; Asco (day 3)
Three passes then a warm water rinse,followed with a polar water splash, Thayer's Witch Hazel, then face Osage Rub.
The shave today was a spectacular DFS .:wave: the judges all said it was a 10.
