Monday, January 16th, Midnight Shave

ASB: Clinique Post-Shave Healer

This was my 2nd shave with the Old Type. It's deceivingly aggressive and a great razor to work on technique. Tonight was BBS in 3 passes. No nicks, no cuts, no burn and nobody left on base.

An early morning three pass shave, cool and smooth. The cut on my chin wasn't too bad, so I tried again this morning. A chilly DFS, well its off to the airport again after a nice Sunday with the family.

I can really only say wow at this shave. I really hate when you mail blades forward of a trip and then find out that the mail hasn't gotten there even though you mailed them 4 days in advance......having said that, I should really quit complaining because every time that happens and I get the oppurtunity to use one of those little Dorco cheap jobbers, I end up nearly BBS and completely surprised. It is about as heavy as a paperclip which makes letting the weight of the razor work for you out of the question, but aside from that, the little thing works pretty well.

I am BBS nearly everywhere and zero irritation. Than you little Dorco! Still, I brought the R-41 on it's inaugural travel trip so I hope the Voskhods get here today.

A new 7 AM blade in the Super Speed helped to give me a great and true BBS shave. The Egyptian version of Ingram cream and the Barbon aftershave are perfect for a Menthol Monday. They both have superb freezing which lasts for hours afterwards. This Ingram even has a perfect consistency - it doesn't separate and get watery. Amazingly, it took me only 2 passes to achieve the desired results!

How do you like that Avocado? I have TOBS Sandalwood...Rose and Lemon Lime.....the LL is not near as strong of a scent as id like ...the Sandalwood just stinks to me lol...and the Rose im still up in the air on.....perhaps TOBS is just not for me....
