Is it wrong of me to be sitting at work thinking about the shave that will happen as soon as I get outta here?

I'm a machinist not doing anything but watching my 5 axis mill cut a 3d program on 62 Rockwell tool steel so I guess I'm good?

Same set-up, same results...Perfect...I would be gladly face-lathering as I've done almost every week last year, but I found this bowl with the screw-on lid that I had smooshed an Arko Stick into a few months ago and had to try it... So the bowl lathering thing is what's different this week, along with the Perma-Sharp Super and I'm enjoying it sooo much...
Razor/Blade combo still consistantly delivering BBS's that feel as though a blade has not touched my skin...

The rating would have to be...In the words of the immortal 'Stingraysrock': a Tree-Climbing, Barrel Throwing, Chest Beating, Vine Swinging, Inter-Galactic, Bang-A-Gong Type of Shave..

Lesson of the day... No matter how half asleep you are, make sure that the blade is correctly and fully seated before going to your face. One of the corners was on the blade stop instead of behind it and my first past left me with a nasty bleeding inch long cut near my left ear. Even though I haven't used it in over a year, I'm glad I still had that styptic pencil here.

As I had stated several times, with winter being here in Montreal, I plan to start using soaps more often, and this Vitos Green stuff which I received a week ago is fabulous. The scent is very similar to Cella, but not as intense, and it has wonderful lather with a really comfortable feeling. This shave was a pleasure!

A fine shave this morning--BBS! I also enjoyed the almond scent of the Salter cream. The forecast is for windy and cold conditions today. Since I have to be outside this afternoon, I reached for the Speick balm, which is very protective.

I currently use their Green Elixir Body Wash, and just ordered the Mentha (as noted above) as well as the Lime Coriander, Lemon Clementine, and Lavender. In the past I used their Lemon - wonderful - and their Bay Rum - possibly the best smelling rendition of Bay Rum I've ever found. The White I found to be good, but the Red was absolutely excellent. If you don't want to pay shipping costs I'd recommend giving that one a sniff. I have also heard good things about their new line: Black Pepper. It is supposed to have a wonderful bourbon undertone.

 

Good advice for the day, I hope you are ok. Did the pencil stop the bleeding? Last week I had to use the multiple applications of the pencil and about 20 tissues. Hope you feel better.
