Glad u r ok. I agree, we don't wanna use the styptic but it should be around. Like the umbrella in my trunk that I barely use, a good tool.

 

Another excellent reason to have a good adjustable in your den. Damn those fat tires...

I took the iKon S3S for its maiden voyage today and came away very impressed. Weighing in at 127g, the razor is very hefty and a bit head heavy which made shaving a breeze. I enjoyed an irritation free BBS shave (aided no doubt by the truly excellent vintage Trumper soap). A healthy splash of Floid Suave and I am on my way

Parker Badger was called for duty today to face lather Mystery Soap. Finally getting the hang of face lathering.
I chose a Gillette Tech with a Durham handle, loaded with an Asco blade. Day three for the blade and this blade did three passes comfortably.
After face rinsing I applied Thayer's Witch Hazel, then Proraso Balm.
The judges :wave:rated today's a stellar 10

Ladies and Gentlemen we have trouble in paradise! I think I'm allergic to something in Cella. I started out using it on Saturday and Monday morning had 2 razor bump like blemishes, so I used my Bump Patrol and didn't think nothing of it. Yesterday I got another and this morning 2 more which makes 5 of those suckers. I've not had any issues since I switched over to straights back in August so it has to be the soap or the new alum block I bought or a combination of the 2. The alum is marketed for a deodorant in a twist up tube, and I don't know if it's ammonium or potassium alum as the label doesn't say and it is infused with aloe. For tomorrow I'm replacing the stone with my old Osma and am going to use my Palmolive stick for a few days to see if I can clear this up, and so far the Bump Patrol hasn't healed them up which is why I'm thinking allergic reaction rather than just garden variety razor bumps.

 

It's an 87 (same thing I know) and I make three passes. I make three passes with all my razors.

Took my time this evening and achieved BBS with two passes and a careful touch up. The Erasmic Supreme is a very impressive soap and the Vie-Long is a great brush for lathering up a stick

 

The grip was very secure. I rested one of my fingers in the large groove and it was a very comfortable grip. Only one use in though...
