No picture tonight, had a tough kickboxing class and just wanted a soak in the bath and though I would have a shave while doing so.

I've never used a straight in the bath, preferring a safety razor on such occasions. The shave was great and conducted by touch, the balm at the end making up for any mistakes due to tired limbs.

I really enjoyed the class tonight and we had a great sparring session at the end. Those that are happy to, hit hard enough that you want to avoid getting but not full power. The last round of the night I was up against one of our better fighters, although I managed to hold my own most of the round I was caught with a couple of excellent punches either of which would have dropped me, had they been full power. A great learning experience and nothing teaches you to keep a tight guard better than taking a few taps when you don't!

My second attempt to post this. It just seemed to disppear last night after I pushed the 'Post Reply' !
Two pass with touch up BBS. Probably the best shave I have ever had with this type of razor. I probably wont be shaving today as the results have been so good.

 

Saturday morning shave:
pre: hot shower w/irish spring original bar soap
razor: gillette ss
blade: shark super chrome
soap: proraso white I love this stuff!!
post: cold water rinse

Ya know......I could smack my wife sometimes! when I 1st got the proraso white she smelt it in the container, curled her nose and said she didnt like the smell. I dont mind it but i love how it shaves and the cooling effect it has. SO anyway I shave and have her sniff me and she loves the smell and asked me what i used this morning and I yell "THE STUFF YOU DONT LIKE!!!!" she laughs, kisses my check and wonders off.....I stand dazed and confused......

This older version of the Lavanda cream lathers very well in a bowl, and it smells similar to the newer version, but not quite the same. The photo that I'm showing is the older version which I shaved with today. It also surprised me with a very nice cooling sensation which I did not expect. After slapping on the Barbon aftershave, my face felt nice and frozen!

Saturday Morning:

I have two parties to go to, wish I could stay home and veg. But that gives me a chance to have a nice smooth shave and tomorrow my band is practicing and watching the Giants game.

Today means only two face lather days left. I have enjoyed this week and it turns out I can face lather and have had some pretty nice shaves. I look forward to the next theme week.

The Fitness was a great shave and made lots of thick lather. This was onsale (still is) when I ordered my Open Comb for five dollars. Similiar to Cella, but a soap all it's own. A very nice surprise.

The Iced Neroli seems to work with anything citrusy, and Slanty is always dependable.

Feather delivered another fine shave, two pass shave with a very delicate touch up, can't speak highly enough regarding the Vito's soft soap really delivers a super slick lather.

 

I hate when my post vanishes. Sounds like a great shave was had. The Artist always seems to get high marks!

Feeling better today after two days of rest, thankfully the Dr. changed my antibiotic and while the side effects are still there they are tolerable.

Plus, I had a fabulous shave today, this blade is one of my favorites and delivers smooth silky legs every time.
