Here are my two and only brushes. Both are RV customs with the Badger Silvertip 23/46 and the Omega knot boar 24/48. The bader is set in half black and half shredded money. Thanks for looking.
Very nice Randy. One day I'll have Mr. Vey craft me a brush. Right now I'll just enjoy the looks of yours. Bea-Utiful!
What a cool and unique material to use, shredded money. Both are very nice, but I like the looks of the black one. May they serve you well.
Those look great. How is the boar knot set that low? In the past, I set a 22mm boar knot at 48mm and it ended up breaking lots of bristles on me. It could have just been a crappy knot as I have nothing to compare it to. Do you like the face feel?
A nice brush is a joy every morning. It's just one of those little things that add up to make the experience worth while.
Hi, Dale. I've used it only once so far and this is my first boar so we'll see how it holds up. Rudy said that he's set several of the Omega knots like mine at under 50mm and they work great. The feel on the face was surprisingly smooth. It moved around my face very easily. I prefer shorter loft brushes because I have a moustache and gotee. Anything larger than a 48mm brush and I'm lathering where I don't need to and it's distracting. The first time I used it though I was face lathering an Arko stick so I didn't get to put the brush on a puck of soap. Tomorrow I'm planning on using it on a puck of Tabac to see how it does. I hope that helps, but I'm a noob with the boar so I'm still learning too.
