Got off to a neat start today, had a goldgfinch and a purple finch at my feeder!

I've given up on bird feeding. Most of the time it's just sparrows and starlings. There's the occasional junko and chickadee, but rare. Then the pigeons find out about it. Forget it.

Now at my grandparent's place in Maine, man! What a show. Rose breasted grossbeaks, cedar waxwings, nut hatches, junkos, flickers, blue jays, finches, chickadees galore, cardinals. It was fun to watch.

All packed up for this joke of a field exercise. Some of these young guys are hilarious, having rucksacks packed to the gills with useless kit I can't help but laugh since they didn't take any advice from us guys that have been in the field countless times. My ruck fully loaded for the week weighs less than 15Lbs including everything I need for up to a month...that shower next Friday night will feel SOOOOO good. Gonna take a long one tonight since its my last until then, and shave tonight too, back into my field routine for shaving in the evenings. Have a good week everyone! Talk to you in a few days!

Resetting my wife's laptop back to factory settings. I was able to rescue the the documents and photos from a previous version of the c drive. Man that really sucked!

Reinstalling Office 2010 on my wife's laptop for the 5th time. I had installed the Click to Run version a few times and it only caused issues. I found another way to install a different version...so lets hope that works. I just don't understand why computer programs just can be lean without all this added bloatware garbage!

Woah! Hectic start to my day... walked in the door only to be informed that they needed sound and a projector in the gym for an 8:30 assembly... when it was over, I was called to the library with sound problems. Just set down for the first time all morning, and am having my coffee. It's a good thing I'm in a good mood, or I would have snapped at somebody already. I finally got to bathe in my own tub last night. I've been showering at a friends house for the last 4 months. The couple of spit baths I have taken at home in that time have been tepid. Last night's bath was hot. There is something to be said for getting out of a hot bath, drying off, putting on your pajamas and sitting in your own easy-chair and not having to get dressed and drive home.

My truck still needs a little work, but soon I should have it back on the road after a 3 month hiatus! Everything's coming up Millhouse!

I busted up ice and then shoveled it for 8 hours today (along with about 1-1/2 hours of less physical work). I feel like I've been killed.

note to self - as pretty as Colorado is, I really don't like the idea of those winters.

Feel like crap again today (sorry...it's the only word that can describe my physical/mental state). Took the day off work yesterday, just to wake up even worse today...I love it when that happens!:sad029: At least my much anticipated PS3 game comes out today! Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be played rarely at my home right now...because of my CMA program (but at least I will have it and can chip away at it :) ).

If I had a pair of these...I don't think I would wear another pair of shoes! In other words, wardrobe change! I had a pair growing up and cried the day they didn't fit any longer!.

If I had a pair of those... I'd be an even more colossal nerd. Those go with shorts and a t-shirt, right?

I think they could go with anything! ;) Although I may not wear them to work...I don't think they would go too well in the oil industry...

Enjoying missions week at our church all week long. Have already heard from missionaries to Cambodia, England, Tanzania, & last night learned some about Singapore. Makes us understand a little better what all we have here in America.

Today I feel like shouting "To heck with it!" Then storm out of the office and not come back until Monday. The only thing keeping me here is my annual job evaluation is today where I get to say what I want changed for the future.
