MWF Week 2/20-2/26

In honor of the week used my MWF today. Nice shave. Alway like the MWF.
Idea, find that when I start making a lather and just let it set for a min or two it seems to whip up better.

 

I also used the MWF this morning in prep for next week. A very splendid shave and the Fat (as long as your skin can tolerate it's ingredients) is one of the best soaps out there. Next week will be pure pleasure!

 

As Larry the Cable Guy says "get-er-done". To start my week a new Semogue 1305 and a fresh puck of MWF. Let the games begin.

 

Johnny I thought you were a badger brother and here you go keep buying the boar! What's up with that? Getting bored with them and needed to shake things up?

 

Well, old Nick and Aaron kept bragging about those Omega brushes so I got a couple of them, and I really liked them. I've always like the looks of the 1305 so I figured what the heck and got one. I will let you know next week how it works out.

For right now I am giving my badgers a break. You can teach an old dog new tricks and I have learned to never say never.

 

I've got several Omega boars but have never had a Semogue. I might get a 1305 one day, who knows. My boars haven't been used in quite a while and they need some exercise but I have one that just kills MWF lather literally. By the time I'm ready for my second pass that brush for some reason disolves all of the lather.

 

Well, old Gary over on ShoeBox ShaveShop has the Omega 10005 on sale right now and you should get one. I get a good three passes out of mine.

 

Nice bowl you got there. Do you use that for lathering or just your scuttle?

 

That is a bowl I use to use. I lather strickly in the DB 1.5 scuttle now, unless I'm traveling.

 

We have a puck on the way from Carbolic Soap Company. They are across the pond, but, $11.00 shipped is cheap, and I am cheaper than cheap. Prolly won't be here in time for Monday though. When it does get here, I am hoping that it works better than the last time I tried it. I think out of the five times I tried, I only got one shave-able lather out of it.

 

Trust me, you will have some for next week.
