Happy GEMruary! A month of the Gems with the 27th being the centennial of the 1912 patent. After a shave like today's I find myself asking why I haven't been using the FAT more frequently. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish.

I forgot, but Ilike Moon River as well. I'm not only into modern music. Old style New Orleans jazz, Frank Sinatra, Gershwin et cetera hold a warm place in my heart as well.

Me too! I'm curious to hear this as well.

I like TSD Signature a lot. It's got a really nice scent (I know YMMV, but still... ). As I was only used to DVH up to a few weeks ago, it took me some time to get used to the TSD. In the beginning I had way too little soap on my brush. My modus operandi is now that I pour a little hot water in the bowl of soap before I start prepping my face. Then I pour the water out and start with a reasonably dry brush. Adding water is easyer than getting rid of it . It really makes a good lather.

And you might be right, Randy, the Rocket may have distracted me, but my state of mind lately is such that when I turn myself around I sometimes have completely forgotten with what I was busy.... Like walking in an room and thinking: what was I going to do here?

Wow I was really surprised by how good this razor was DFS+ 2 pass and touch ups, after the first pass felt so smooth, I thought id do away with the xtg pass just to what the razor is like. I was not disapointed

Not bad, though the Omega still needs to be broken in more, doesn't lather as well as I'd like, though I may have fallen out of my pure boar groove, I'm not sure yet. I have a feeling I'll be abandoning all for my first Simpson brush when it arrives next week.
