So I was adding a new book to my list on goodreads, when I sort the list by date added and I notice that #42 on my list is "Salmon of Doubt" by Douglas Adams.

yes, he was...but not while driving. there was a red flag, cars were stopped on the track, he took a picture of the view out of his windshield and tweeted it

 

HURRAY FOR 2 HOURS OF SLEEP! It was so hot and dry in my new place last night I thought I was going to die!

 

This...this is just crazy enough that it could work!

 

it almost gets rid of Jar Jar, which is a plus in my book.

My least favorite of the three prequels was #2. I actually liked #1.

Ok well the final walkthrough is done on my condo, keys handed in. Living in hotels now until my furniture gets to Edmonton on the 6th of March. My house insurance went WAAAAY down compared to what it was in Winnipeg. Now I just have to hope they give me a few days of leave in Edmonton when I get there so I can get these things all arranged, cleared into the base, and get paperwork and keys for my new PMQ.

 

I like the logic. It works for me. Now if I could just erase all mem and start fresh

 

I also just noticed that the new Tapatalk on the iPhone pulls your twitter avatar and uses it for forums. ARGH. That was a fail design for them.

A little bummed out. Around Christmas, there was this kid on reddit looking for some free artwork to use as a book cover. After conferring with him, I provided him with an image that he could use if he would only list my website on the acknowledgement page. He seemed to really like it, was pleased with the cover and it looked like I was going to have a second book cover under my belt. Well, he finally published his ebook. He used a stock photo instead. I mean, it's his prerogative and whatnot, but it would have been cool to see another one of my pictures out there.

 

So, it has come to this...

Some top managers are flying in from Houston to visit the office today. I didn't shave today either. I needed to give my neck a break. Oh well...looks like they will meet the real Luke.

 

So I had an early day with late meetings so wife stopped on her way home from work and picked up supper. I am usually home before her and get supper made. TWGW even remembered that I didn't want mayo on my sandwich and ordered it without mayo. So I get home finally, unwrap my sandwich to find that it is only mayo. It is marked no mayo but was made only mayo. Literally... only mayo. No meat, no cheese... just a bun and mayo.

Yup... it has been one of those days.
