I decided to give the boar another shot with some different technique than what I normally use. I used Marco's Italian Soft Soap lathering technique I read about yesterday and was rewarded with enough lather in the brush for 3 passes. Not too bad for a first time, and I'm sure the lather will be even more perfected with some more tweeking on my part. I guess your never set enough in your ways to learn something new.

I'm really starting to enjoy my Friday shaves; aside from Sunday, Friday mornings are my favorite as I basically have the house to myself. The tunes get turned up, and I get to take over the den without fear of interruption. First lather with the 404 - I like this brush, a lot. I'm dubbing it The Big Nasty, this thing is bigger and heavier than any other brush I have. I have big hands, so it was a real nice change. Plus, that's my favorite pro bowlers nickname

First shave of the week. I know, gross, but sometimes you just don't feel like shaving. First time using a 7 OC Green and it was fantastic. Not one weeper, even with the growth. The Wars SC was very cushy and had a really good glide.

Now, we are off to the beach for some much needed time away from home and work and life.

I woke up this morning to a dumping of a foot of snow! So I took the dog out to play in it. After this, I was rewarded with a great shave! No Irritation. And though I wouldn't call it BBS, I would rate it a 10 as a DFS!

On the way to work this morning, I stopped and pulled someone out of the ditch. Was a good start to my day!

Got a high level DFS, but noticed some tugging starting, so the Ladas is out after just 2 shaves this time. The superb lather from the R-Man soap was this shave's highlight.

I'm really lovin' the OCMM,I had the Pils 101NE out to do a headshave with but I said screw this.I did the headshave with the OCMM,I got a real close BBS head and face shave,no nicks or weepers,and no irritation.

Today I did two things I haven't done in a long time. One; I shaved two days in a row. And two; I used a styptic pencil. I had to. I caught my chin during my ATG pass and it sliced off a little chunk. Little bugger wouldn't stop bleeding so out came the styptic. Other than that the shave was ok. Not great, not bad, just, ok. The Coconut Lime Verbena was great though. That lime scent really comes through the coconut and is very nice. Have a great Friday everyone!
