You just blew the shave. Your face looks like a Martian landscape, Your zit had the top taken off and looks like a volcano erupting. You have enough weepers to audition for a Wes Craven movie. Your skin feels like you used Dave's Insanity Sauce as an aftershave. What do you do? How are you going to heal up from this mess? For Me: Cuts - shut them down with a styptic pencil or My Nik is Sealed as needed. Post Shave weepers - Cold water or ice cube rub followed by an Alum block OK, I have the blood stopped. Now what? Thayer's Aftershave Splash as usual followed by some Aloe99 pure Aloe Vera gel and then Anherb Aftershave gel. I finish with Anherb Aftershave Balm. Later in the day, I'll apply some Chic Afrique Herbals Ori 100% Raw Shea Butter. I'll re-apply the shea butter about an hour before going to bed. Following day or two I'll use my GOTO setup if it's bad enough.
THis is basically exactly what I do as well. It works well. I usually use a couple of Shea Butter applications if its bad enough...and use a day of rest.
Fortunately for me I don't get a lot of nicks to deal with. Instead I just sliced my f'n cheek open and get to walk around with a scar for the rest of my life :rofl
Did this once six months ago and fortunately have not done this since. Sealed things up with a Club Man Syeptic Pencil and that was it. Within ten minutes I was ok. Fortuantely I have not had a blood bath since I gave the Gillette blades the old heave ho.:signs107
Whenever I cut myself.. I just seal myself up like T-1000 in Terminator 2. :rofl If that doesn't work, a Styptic Pen and Alum block works fine.
Heavy doses of menthol, with multiple products, followed by Weleda Aftershave Balm. Aqua Velva Ice Blue is a must.
I pour Bourbon over the wound(s) and Suck It Up ! I deserve the pain. Teaches me to shave better next time.
if I ever cut myself, it's bad, bad. I get so queezy, and I break into a terrible cold sweat. I use Anherb conditioner to try to repair the damage, and it works well, but I still end up feeling sick to my stomache for a while.
