I'm not sure about the Labs yet, they seem to give me a bit of burn. Maybe it's my technique. The burn from the Bay Rum was excellent, and I love how it feels after! Have a good weekend!

Saturday's Shower and Shave Hot shower with a bar of Amber bath works. Omega "Midget" was today's brush choice. Soap choice Ward shave cream. Razor choice a Schick Injector G-1. Three passes with the Schick this morning. I had the best shave ever with the Injector this morning. a simple adjustment of my angle improved the shave dramatically. Post ritual polar water splash, Thayer's Witchhazel, and then Kapo. The :wave:were thrilled with this DFS and the judges were unanimous in awarding it a 10. Hope everyone's weekend is going great. Remember clocks go back one hour tonight.
Saturday Birthday shave courtesy of Mickie's Barbershop. It was done with a shavette I believe. He used half of a Wilkinson blade. It was very relaxing! I ended up with a few knicks on my chin, but that area takes some serious prep to get soft. The barber used CREW shave cream and some menthol additive. As an aftershave he used Pinot? I think...didn't get a good look at it, but he slathered it on twice. It was strong but smelled great! I would rate the shave a DFS. Would I do it again? For sure!

Poor pic of a Clauss 6/8 I've been working on. I have to attempt to straighten the original scales yet, these are some replacements I made for it to get by. The blade has some issues and I've had a bugger of a time getting a good edge on it. This morning shave was fine but I think the blade has more to offer, I'll work on it some more but its not going into rotation yet. Sunday: Omega Wooden Handle Dovo Bismarck 5/8 Palmindaya SC Booster Moswood JHL Cologne I cannot believe how wonderful it felt to enjoy a nice, long, soothing and relaxing shave with my Dovo Bismarck this morning. I did three passes with it and not even my barber could have done a better job. The Palmindaya cream smells so nice and traditional without any of that lousy "modern" or "retro" note, and the Booster Mosswood aftershave was such a delightful finish, along with a little JHL cologne.

Sunday 11 Mar 12 Gillette Slim Adjustable Gillette 7 o'clock blue Cella Omega 10005 Cold Water Rinse Brut Great shave this morning as well, my BBS streak is broken but oh well, still a DFS. The Omega has been ignored lately so I broke it out and gave it another spin, still breaking in nicely though and whipped up a nice lather.
