1. Follow up to the "make" thread I started, based on Swarden's recent comment there (Swarden is cream and sugar. His coffee, I mean, not Swarden himself. As far as I know, anyway. I'll shut up now.)

I take heavy cream and that's it.
  2. Strong and black.

  3. Double shot of espresso is my standard fare.
  4. First one is a latte. Second one is a latte. After that it's black and strong.
  5. Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is latte?
  6. A lot of hot milk & a strong shot of caffeine. When the milk is steamed you get a cappucino. In France they call it "cafe au lait", in Spain it's "cafe con lecce" and in Holland "koffie verkeerd" which means "coffee wrong". Never understood that last one I must admit. Strange bunch those Dutch :)
  7. black , BLACKER, BLACKEST
Coffee is supposed to be hot and BLACK. Not cold and creamy.

Put flour in a bowl. It's flour. Add milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, mix it up, and what do you have? You call it batter!
Put coffee in a cup. It's coffee. Add milk, creamer, sugar, flavoring, mix it up, and what do you have? I have no idea - BUT DON'T CALL IT COFFEE!

That being said, I drink coffee. :p

  8. :) Howdy! I usually like my coffee black. However, if I go out for dinner, I sometimes add cream to black coffee. Some dark roasts I may add a bit of cream and sugar, but most of the time just straight up black with no additives. I do not like flavored coffees (hazelnut, etc.). Always, Gene
  9. Black, nothing but the caffeine.

  13. Just creamer. I like black coffee, but it makes my dental veneers feel "rubbery" so I don't drink it much.

  15. +1 for black!
  16. Usually Americano. Sometimes Canadiano... anybody know what that is?

  17. coffee with back bacon and maple syrup? ;)
  18. I prefer cafe au lait. Probably as a result of growing up close to New Orleans. I get a kick out of someone telling me coffee should only be taken black.
  19. I do hope you know I had my tongue firmly planted in my cheek when I said coffee must only be had black.
Black is how I enjoy mine. Please, it's your coffee. Enjoy it your way. :eatdrink013:
  20. What surprises me is that someone, somewhere, hasn't come up with the angle of caffienated shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, cologne, etc.

I admit, though, I'd be very tempted by shaving cream that smells just like fresh roasted coffee.
