    Time for a DE razor:
    Gillette Super Adjustable
    Iridium blade
    Frankensoap
    Omega boar brush

The Frankensoap is mostly beneath the surface. I poured melted VdH glycerine soap on top of all the other fragments. Works great.
I tossed in The Iliad and a Sheaffer School Pen in hopes of making the photo more artistic.

Hot Shower (soak brush,Savile Row 3824)
    Proraso PrePost cream
TOB Lemon and Lime shaving cream
    Merkur 39C (The Hammer)/Voshkod (2)
    Cold Water Rinse
Monster Block Alum (clean brush, razor, police area)
    Cold Water Rinse
M&L Florida Water mixed with a pea sized amount of 444

I was walking in the old neighborhood yesterday when I saw a botanica store.I walked in and saw the Florida Water and Kananga Water for 2:50 apiece. My only expierience with Florida Water is M&L Florida Water Peru,I always wanted to know if there was a difference. There sure is,the peru version is spicier and the reg one has more orange citrus to it,both are very good.Kananga Water is more floral also smells wonderful, tomorrow's shave I'll have to try some.

    Happy Tuesday!

Pre: Hot Shower, Tabac SC + Glycerin
    Razor: Merkur 23c
    Blade: SuperMax Super Platinum (2)
    Cream: Speick
    Brush: Omega 10005
Post: Thayers WH, Cold Rinse, Clubman AS

Overall, this shave was more than decent. A bit of tugging from dry lather, but in the end, no irritation, and darn near BBS. Not quite, but who cares.

Dropped this razor on the counter right on the edge last time I used it. Made a lovely slice in the counter top but couldn't see any damage on the edge. I ran it back through the hones just to make sure the edge was aligned. Seems to be back to it's very fine self so, I am thankful there was no damage done. I thought about grabbing for it when it slipped out of my hand but I figured it was easier to re-hone the edge than grow a couple of new fingers! LOL

I like the pic, but doesn't this set-up for the pic, nice as it is, dull the edge of the str8? I'm a total noob about str8s, so I'm just asking. :)

    Tuesday's Shower and Shave

Hot shower nice long one using Amber Freckle Face bar soap.
On deck was Parker Badger, waiting to lather MWF.
Day two for the Rocket and Eddison combo. Definitely an improved shave today, obviously my lather missed the sweet spot Sunday.
After three comfortable passes I splashed cold water on my face. After drying my face, I rubbed in the RazoRock Alum. I was skeptical that alum would work, I now a convert to using alum. A splash of Thayer's witch-hazel, to finish a great shave a splash of Pinaud Lilac Vegtal.

The :wave:were enthused that this shave was such an exceptional DFS. They were unanimous with giving it a ten.

    Chinese mixed badger brush
    Mystic Waters Cedar and Sage
    Osage
Today is my last day in Denver and I must say that my face is ready. Not sure if it is the small dimly lit bathroom or something about the difference in water, but I have gotten terrible shaves for my entire visit. It seems like I am simply unable to make my 3rd pass without shredding my jaw and neck. Fort Worth here we come.

    Tuesday 27th March

    Facial Scrub
    3p Pre/Post cream
    Parker 31R straight
    Simpson Special in Best
    Lider Pollena Active Shave cream
    Simple Facial Toner
    444 ASB
    Floid Original AS
    4711 EDT

Had to go back to the Parker today as I was a little disappointed with my shaves over the weekend. They were at best acceptable. This time I used a tried and tested cream and achieved a BBS with 3 passes. This makes me wonder if it was the La Toja soap. I had never used it before Saturday. The only other variable was the lack of a facial scrub.....ie prep. Will check that out tomorrow.

It's a 1990s Sheaffer School Pen. Still inexpensive, even NOS, but a good everyday pen. It's not really a collection, and most of my pens are not vintage, but I have accumulated quite a few.;)

Cheaper pens are fun...if they write well. I have a selection of Chinese pens, which are cheap....write well....and I have no worries about losing them!

Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar
Lather: TSD ISZ Wheat Cream & Musgo Real - face lather
Brush: Semogue 820 & DVH boar
    Razor: Gem OCMM
Blade: Pella PTFE (2); 3 passes
Post: Cold water rinse; Krampert's Finest Menthol

I had the morning off of work today to help at home and I was able to play a bit so I lathered 2 brushes with 2 different soaps and used them both. ISZ for the first pass on the DVH and Musgo Real on the 820 for pass 2 & 3. It was a very fun shave with excellent results. The 820 is really softening at the tips and hopefully the DVH is soon to follow.

    Prep :: Warm water wetdown
Razor :: BRW NEW Short Comb
    Blade :: Super Iridium
Soap :: Vintage Colgate (Face Loaded)
    Brush :: Bill Jack Badger
Post :: Alum, Cold water rinse, WH & Rosewater
AS :: TSD Bay Rum Milk & Captain's Choice Bay Rum AS

Kevin (Hanzo) PIFd me a puck of V. Colgate soap and it was terrific. It and the V. Williams Tonsorial soap are top notch. Great stuff like this makes me wonder why they stopped making it. Thanks again, Kevin!

My new Bill Jack Finest Badger brush got its maiden voyage tonight. I love this new brush. Tons of backbone, dense and not floppy. Just like I like my women.

    Peace
