How come you bought a best badger not a super badger or a silver tip badger? The Super Badger and Silvertip are better brushes.

 

I would assume cost effectiveness vs price.

 

That is debatable.

 

Like a lot of wet shaving purchases, there are many variables to consider. When it comes to brushes, you have quality of hair, cost, density, loft, knot size, handle size, materials and construction and overall quality of the brush. Sometimes it is more personal. The looks of the brush, the feel in your hand and how the hair feels on your face. Brushes are definitely a personal choice item. Sometimes it's based on usage. Cream or soap brush or combination. In conclusion, a brush with super badger or silvertip badger may not be the better brush just because of the type of hair it has. I hope I have answered your question.

They arrived today, and look every bit as good as the pictures. Tried out the chrome fatboy, the older long black handle, and the open comb on the upper left of the picture. The open comb seems a little too agressive. The fatboy was nice, but I liked the black handle the best so far.

I hope that the slim adjustable shaves like the one that my wife decided to start using the other day, or that she likes the other black handle.

I also ordered a pair of timberland titanium toe boots from timberland on Sunday.

Is dental work considered part of the haul? Had four crowns done yesterday.
