Post: Cold water rinse, Osage Rub, B&BW Noir, hand strop blade

First time using the Slim Twist. Not bad for the first time out. I'll pass judgement after I've put a few blades through it.

Well I've been looking forward to this shave for several days now. Today I received the custom Wade and Butcher donated by Joanna and restored by Glen at Gemstar Customs.

Well I would like to thank JoAnna and Glen for putting together the PIF that landed me with this great razor. It has a good weight to it and was excellently honed.....and oh yeah, it looks awesome!!! Think Glen just earned himself a restore or two. I have a drawer full of unrestored straights that need some loving.

My first shave with this Kolynos Sensitive cream and I really like it. The scent is not the greatest, but it's far from being the worst, and it has excellent lather which is very easy to work with. It also has aloe which soothes sensitive skin very well. The Rapiras are definitely my favorite blades - they knock the stubble off so effortlessly. Sorry for not showing pictures again today!

 

I forgot to mention that the Kolynos cream is from Greece!
