    Tuesday Night Shave:

    Star Shaving "Big Daddy" Strop
    Hot towel prep- using a small crock pot to warm towels up
    Every Man Jack shaving cream as a prep. I really enjoy this product as a pre shave and it is cheap.
    Hot towel again
    Omega shave cream
    Tweezerman badger brush
    A. Massicot & Fils, LE ROSYLIA 6/8 straight
    Hot water rinse, Cold towel
    Alum block
    Nivea after shave balm
    Old Spice AS
    And as always Clubman talc to finish!:happy036:

    I have been using this small crock pot to warm my towels for two weeks now. I purchased it at a discount chain for $10 and it works great. Warm the towels with water and add some extra water and thirty minutes later it is hot towel bliss!! 0410122218.jpg

    Wow, what a beautiful girl. I was going to say, you have enough lather on that brush everyday to cover Babe head to tail! I'll bet she's a great girl. Thanks for showing me a pic. I've got a very soft spot in my heart for dogs.:love055:
    God bless ya, Nick.

    Wednesday, April 11, 2012 - Midnight Shave

    Prep :: Cold water wetdown
    Razor :: BRW Old Type
    Blade :: Super Iridium
    Soap :: MWF
    Brush :: Rudy Vey Silvertip
    Post :: Alum, Cold water rinse, WH & Rosewater
    AS :: Proraso AS & TSD Tobacco Leaf Milk

    Brush and razor are resting on my PIF from Dale; a handmade coaster with an embedded DE blade. It will stay in my den to rest my brushes while they dry and to load blades into my razors. The dark background of the coaster makes the silver colored blades very easy to see and standout.

    Thanks again, Dale.

    Obsession For Men EDT

    Wow, what a great shave this morning - the Lord Emofresh cream gives so much rich lather that 5 guys can shave with it from the same brush. The scent is so nice, and the cooling effect is mild, but still very enjoyable. The Alt Innsbruck added some extra icicles! ;) :D

    Hi Johnny.I do like the 2 Myrsol products I've tried.The Formula K has a minty scent from the bottle but fades very quick once applied.The same with Myrsol's Aqua De Limon,great lemon scent,also fades very quick.Both have a nice menthol blast very close to the Floids,maybe a touch more.Very good if you're planning on using a EDT or cologne afterwards.I should mention both have a slight alcohol burn.

    My first shave with the Speick shave cream and the aftershave balm.Both compliment the aftershave splash which is one of my favorites.I have the cologne incoming from Bullgoose should be interesting to try all 4.I also love the shave stick which I think has a little better scent and lather,but not by much.

    Prep: Nivea Face Wash
    Pre-Lather: Nuka Shaving Cream, followed by grapeseed oil

    BBS!

    It felt good to get back to my big, fat, heavy-handled 38M, though I did get careless and slice the bottom of my nose. This is my first time going 4 shaves on a blade and the Sputnik is still going strong. I can hardly feel it and there's no irritation after the shave. I used a bit too much water with the Cade but the result was still a phenomenal shave. The big surprise was the Lea Balsam ASB. Slightly mentholated, non-greasy, it felt fantastic on my face. I got a 10ml tube as a freebie from Shaveabuck. I think it's now one of my favorites and will be a great summer balm. I'll be going back to order more for sure. It's a bargain at only $7 for a 125ml bottle.

    Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar
    Lather: MWF - face lather
    Brush: Semogue 820
    Razor: Schick I1 Injector
    Blade: Chinese Schick (6); 3+ passes
    Post: Cold water rinse; Krampert's Finest Bay Rum

    Shave #6 for the Chinese Schick & it still feels like new. The 820 proves today what great lather can be made from MWF. For some reason I can't get into the groove with the 1250. I think it'll be relegated to test lathers only until I see its performance improve. No time for low quality lather hurting my otherwise great shaves! BBS results today with minimal effort. What a great start to the day, I'm just not sure that the rest of the day will live up to it!
