actually, there's a "recipe" Micah is referring to. Don't know if you remember Rollsshaver (RIP), he may have left B&B before you got there, but he mentioned putting a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a grilled cheese sandwhich...sounds awful, I know, but I actually tried it...holy carp it's good!

 

I remember Rolls. I don't remember that recipe, though.

 

I didn't know Rollsshaver or know of his "recipe"...... Lets see we could try a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a grilled bacon & cheese sandwich with maple candied bacon on top?????

true, true...and no, don't have a truck, but I can donate a Droid 2 to the cause next month...I am so ready to watch this thing suffer for all it's put me through the past couple of months

Has yours been spontaneously turning on and keep remapping the keyboard?

 

no, it hasn't done that...it just gets to a point of being extreeeemely slow, and unresponsive. More than once I've had an incoming call, and it's gone to voicemail by the time the screen shows up for me to press answer (one of my gripes about any touchscreen device - I like physical buttons).
If you recall, this one is a refurbished device from when my cellular antenna died about a year ago, that one worked great except for the occasional random reboot. And this one will work great, too, from time to time...but those times are getting few and far between lately. I've started shutting it down and rebooting it every morning (after it wakes me up, of course ), and it's doing better, but it's still inconvenient

 

Jim, when the dreaded Telemarketers start to flood our cell phones soon, the quick shift to voice mail might just be touted as a feature.

 

hmmmm....sounds more like the perfect time for an app that reaches through to the caller and slaps the dog fire out of 'em

indeed....so, is that seriously something that's about to happen? I hadn't heard anything of it. I've already put out cell phone numbers on the do not call lists (as if that works - already been getting unknown calls...the dang "large-mouth, fresh-water fish" + turds). I mean seriously - so telemarketers are not only going to be able to piss you off, annoy you, and waste your time, but also use up your minutes in the process? Something doesn't smell right, here....
