• Prep: hot water splash, hot washing cloth
• Music: Vangelis, Apocalypse des Animaux
• Brush: DVH boar
• Cream: Palmolive classic
• Razor: Gillette Old Style OC
• Blade: Timor, 4th shave
• Shave: 3-pass + touch-up

Monday's Shower and Shave:
Hot shower using the luxury of Amber Bath Works bar soap.
As I showered Omega 48 was warming up. Soap choice today, Ginger's Garden Vanilla Mint, .
Gillette Super Adjustable, with a Persona Blue blade was the the razor combo for today.
I prepped my face with Proraso glycerin.
lathering today was way off the mark today, less then stellar shave today. Did manage three passes despite the poor performance of lathering.
After the three passes a cold water rinse followed with an application of RazoRock alum. Cold water rinse, then Thayer's Witch Hazel.
Then the freeze of Osage Rub.
The :wave:gave this shave a low 6 today.

A nice relaxing DFS+ shave. Surprisingly the Feather DE blade (IMO) is not as sharp as its Artist Club counterpart. The Ingram was cool as usual....but I must find another mentholated cream. It is not as slick or protective as other creams I use. I did however have a comfortable shave with minimal sensation when using the alum

The Derbylux cream is a great face-freezer from Hungary which would be very good for a Menthol Monday shave as well. I love the scent, lather, and cooling effect that it gives. The Osage Rub is in a class by itself. Today's shave was so enjoyable, and really BBS!

 

Very nice soap, indeed! Easy to lather, good moisturising and soothing charasteristics... Nice scent, although diminishing compared with the first time I used it.
But in scent terms, I prefer Havana Classic most.

I got the 3AM rack out call this morning to come into work, decided I needed a nice wake up. A three pass, DFS+. Nice and chilly. I hate getting woken up early for an emergency that never happens. At least I had a great shave, have a great day.

Post: Cold water rinse; Krampert's Finest Bay Rum
Another excellent shave with the E2 today. First use of a badger brush in quite some time and with the Vulfix is was super soft and luxurious. This was my first use of the DVH cream and just like their soap it's Gold! It's a very thick cream and I used more than needed but that's ok. The scent isn't as strong as the soaps so for those that think the soap is too strong then the cream would be an excellent option. DVH products lather ridiculously easy and give great glide and protection. The KF Bay Rum was a perfect finish as always. My newborn daughter's butt is jealous today!
