Todays shave left me with some irritation, and stubble, but it was my fault for making it a quick 2 pass. Feels like a couple ingrowns on my neck from the first shave with this razor, so I have some Technique honing to do!

I love Iridiums in this razor,super smooth and sharp,perhaps not as sharp as a Feather blade but wow is it smooth.Vitos Colonia Tabacco kind of reminds me of Floid without the menthol,I added a smaller than usual amount of 444.It may not have menthol but it does have that barbershop scent and it is very soothing.I'm not very good at describing scents but I only detect a very small hint of tobacco flower and some citrus,but dont hold me to that,it's allergy season LOL!!!

Shower and Shave.
Late start to the day, as usual a hot shower using the luxury of bar soap.
Facial prep Proraso glycerin.
LuJin badger was on deck warming up, to lather MWF. Lather today was great, note to self quit experimenting with lathering.
Day three for Super Adjustable and Persona Blue battery.
Three passes today, cold water rinse. Facial rub down with RazoRock Alum, another cold water rinse. Toner for the face Thayer's, protection Proraso.

:wave:job well done, great DFS, the panel gave it a 9.

Tuesday's Zen Shave

• Prep: hot water splash, hot washing cloth, olive oil
• Music: Judo Notomi, Koku-Reibo (very zen! )
• Brush: DVH boar
• Cream: Palmolive Classic
• Razor: Gillette flare tip Rocket
• Blade: Merkur, 5th shave
• Shave: 3-pass + touch-up

Yesterday I read this thread concerning oil as pre shave treatment. So I wanted to try it out. Can't say much after one shave, so I'll continue using olive oil for some time. See how it turns out. At least there's no negative result, as I attained another BBS.

Decent shave. It was no so nice decision to grab a straight that shave - my hands were shaking after the workout. Nice shave but far from BBSness. How our grandpas shaved after a long days of work?
