The power company is threatening to turn off our power if we don't pay in the next week. I ALWAYS love it when they don't send you the bill for a few months then get mad at you. This is the second time this has happened. It is going to be a fun phone call when I get home! I pity the poor fool in the other end. Maybe I'll request the AR manager and blast them off the phone.

Needless to say I am not impressed with them at all.

On a much lighter note...the provincial election is today...that's going to be interesting.

 

Had an interesting interview about the open shave license and wet shaving in general. A research company asked me about my hopes for the shaving products industry. It was kind of cool.

 

I would like to beseech thee, my friends, to pray for an unspoken request, please.

EDIT: and NO, not even considering iphone - I did briefly, but only for the fact that I have apple stuff assigned to me at work, and all of it syncing would be nice, but I can do all the syncing I need with Android and other services that I already use anyway. And I don't want to give apple any money

 

Got into some trouble on the ol' TSD today..the law showed up. But it did give me a really needed chuckle and lately things haven't been that funny. So thanks all for your patience. There was a a Crow there and some other kind of bird lol.. so sorry if I ruffled any feathers....

 

I have been wanting to try a stunt kite for years. The cheap store ones don't work well and I am worried about hurting someone. so I have been looking at the snapshot.

 

Stunt kites are great! I had a pic of mine prepared for launch, but it didn't save on my phone. I too had a cheap one, but the lines were far too short and the kite was small, so it always sped to the ground and crashed (not too mention that $20 is far too little to spend on one of these). I was going to get the Prism Jazz, but talking to other stunt kite flyers, and the main distributor for North America, I found out that the larger the kite, the easier it is too fly. So my Quantum's wingspan is around 8 feet, and I have 80 foot lines (I want 50 foot lines as the fields here are all sports fields).

If you decide to get a Snapshot, let me know how they are. I have been interested in how the parafoils fly!
