Went to our church's Men's Breakfast this morning.

My wife I went our local Farmer's Market, not too much available quite yet. We purchased a green onion bunch.

We over to Oklahoma to pick your own farm. We picked 4lbs of blueberries for $6.56.

We have had great day. Plan on looking at the super moon tonight. Hope everyone had a great Saturday.

Then there was the little old lady that boarded a bus to Wind Gap, PA. She dozed off. Upon awakening she realized that she didn't know where the bus was and that it had other scheduled stops after hers. She spotted a man in a cowboy hat in the seat across from her, and leaned over and very demurely asked, "Excuse me sonny, but did I pass Wind?"

With a bemused look on his face he tipped his hat and quietly replied, "Well, if'n ya' did, ma'am, you done it awfully ladylike."

BADUMP-chee!

In other news, it has been bgdaaaa!-tastic around here today. A computer guy should not sweat as much as I have today.

In other, other news, I'm doing a 3rd book cover. I turned in my first draft and it's mostly pretty good. Just some minor tweaking, adjusting, and modifying, and it should be a go! In fact, I had another moment where I added an element to the picture on a whim, not having read any of the book. Turns out that the first chapter features the thing I drew almost exactly as I drew it! That's the second time I've done that. The first time was Mt. Rushmore. It's kind of weird.

 

Well you know if the whole book cover thing doesn't work out for you, you might just have a future as a psychic.

 

Or a psychic.

But, he probably saw that coming. <groan>

 

Foiled again by myself. <sigh>

 

I have been working the Nutritionist, to help me loose weight.

Today was my monthly weigh in, I have been exercising and I have changed my eating habits. Since Feb. I have gone from 251lbs to 230 lbs. I have dropped 4inches off my waist.
My BMI has dropped 4 points. I'm proud of my results, still have a way to go.

 

wow, a week of good news so far....Micah and his physic/psychic/drawing abilities, Brad having success with nutritional goals, Rich hoisting Gollum by his own petard....good stuff so far.
[impatiently waiting for something good to happen my way....]

 

Ahh!.. finally some me time!.. now for an episode of Xena warrior princess!..

well, battery life is a bit better than my old one...some days it's tremendously better (I'm mainly mentioning battery life to make myself feel better about not getting the Razr Maxx with its ginormous battery...but then, there's actually a battery available for this phone that actually bigger than the Maxx...it just makes it look like the phone has a tumor )
as to what more could I want....the update to come very very soon, and hope it fixes the antenna/signal I haven't had a problem with it yet, but there's a lot of discussion about it. It'll determine whether I send it back and get the Razr Maxx (I really want to keep this one, though)

Came home after work and grabbed my phone off of the charger before going back out. As soon as I turned the phone on, it started an update and rebooted to a boot loader error. grrrr. Phone is now bricked, but at least the verizon store didn't give me any grief about it. The new phone should be here Wednesday. . *sigh* I was hoping to make it to the end of the contract without messing with the phone much.
