Hi all!
For the last week and a half its been pretty much the same. Gillette fatboy or a super speed and MWF and maybe a splash of old spice original. Keeping it simple. Today was exquisite!

Prep: Pre-shave lather with Maca Root Shaving Cream

Blade: Rapira Super Stainless (2)

Soap/Cream: Fume SS - Lavender (for 2 passes), Maca Root SC for the final pass
Post: 5Savages AS (witch hazel, rum, Tabac cologne)
AS: Clinique Post Shave Healer
DFS, but an uncomfortable one.

I like this Fume Shaving Cream Soap more each time I use it, but there's something in it that makes my face burn. I only got through 2 passes today before giving up and going to the Maca Root for the final pass. Shaving's not as fun if it hurts.

Because of the burn tonight and last night, I'm disregarding the testing results for this blade and will pull out another one.

No AS ... it's bedtime, the wife is asleep, and only the cat curled up at the end of the bed would "relish" the scent!

3 pass (wtg, xtg, atg) DFS+. The Kai is a sharp blade! Would be BBS-, but was a wee bit casual on the chin. Will look freshly shaved at the office in the morning! Warm water rinse after passes. Cold wet towel pat after Cetaphil applied.

I pull out my Gold Dachs for special occasions ... . What's tonight's special occasion? Why, a late night shave, of course! I'll sleep like a baby tonight.

This was a nice three pass shave. I got 8 hours of sleep followed by a hot-hot shower. I'm a new man ready for my daily beat-down.
DFS at least, still a bit of stubble on the jawline.

Now to find a decent cup of coffee, have a great day.

I'm really enjoying the shaves I've been getting with the Schicks,I did a 3 pass face and 1 pass head BBS all around.The Rose of Bulgaria aftershave is a very soothing splash I prolly didn't need to add 444 but what can I say I'm a Ment head

If you guys want to know about powerful menthol, I'll tell you about it - this QCS Vostok cream and Diana Sport balsam are ULTRA-FRIGGIN'-FRIGID. After a shave with this stuff and a little of this balsam, your face will need all day to thaw out!

3 passes this morning, resulting in a near BBS shave. I get the closest shaves ever with this L1, but man does my neck ever get irritated. I need to figure it out, maybe try some other blades, or maybe review my technique. I seem to get a little aggro with the L1 and start quasi-buffing for my regular passes. Injector rocks though!!

Just finished my side-by-side testing of Mike's Natural Soap veggie formulation vs his tallow et al formula. I will say it was a very enjoyable test. Thanks again to Mike for letting me participate in this stage of development. Final result was an excellent shave.
