  3. Don't worry, Rich dropped a plate of Sushi and he is just getting it cleaned up. That is what the mess is about.

He will simply make a request for more Sushi when the waiter arrives! ;)
  4. Random Shawna Drive-By:

Normally, I am a positive person. I tend to see the possibilities rather than the limitations. Today, I have seriously had my fill. :angry032:

First: I had my gall bladder removed (April 11). I returned to work four days later, full time. Yes, I missed a day of work after and didn't close one night because I was in pain. Apparently, this is a crime. I was pretty much crucified for it today for it.

Second: I found out today that I have to have an upper GI scope and a colonoscopy, at the same time. Yuck.

Third: I have to have a stomach-emptying study performed. Seems it's not natural to vomit everyday, spontaneously.

Fourth: I have been wearing a heart monitor for a week and have a week to go. I had a doppler study performed on my jugular and carotid arteries. I'm pretty sure there may be some blockage, but the results haven't been read yet. Dr. K "do you have a family history of stroke?" Me "I'm adopted, I have no idea." Yuck.

Fifth: Even though I am the Center Manager where I am employed, I still have to be able to perform every task in the center. It's not all sitting behind a desk. After I performed shipment, I went directly to the donor floor. I performed one disconnect, moved to the next and darn it if the needle didn't retract all the way into the guard. As I was placing it into the sharps container ( I didn't see that it didn't retract) I poked my finger. Yep, went to the Occupational Clinic to have a baseline blood draw, tetanus shot, and over two hours of my life I won't get back. Now just waiting to be sure the donor doesn't have any infectious diseases. Yuck.

Last: Can this be it please? :(
  5. What a cruddy day Shawna, I"m sorry. And doubly hoping that ya didn't get anything from that needle stick.

  6. ahh... yes. In this case the only place that they will give identical and accurate readings is to place them a leather sack suspended in concrete inside a solid steel box and buried at the bottom of deep ravine .
  7. In a perfect vacuum. :D

  13. Sounds like you need to recalibrate one or both of them. It shouldn't be that difficult. There should be an adjustable screw on the back.
  14. Sonic screwdriver anyone?

  18. One can certainly hope so. Just stay in there, things will get better.

You always have to over complicate things.
