Don't have my flight date yet, I should be finding out this week, all I know is that it's from June until July

 

I third the yeah that!..There are serious privacy and other issues there that makes facebook worth avoiding. Apparently there is now an open source alternative that might be interesting but still I remain leery of that internet genre...

 

Given my reaction to that video....I'm such a nerd.

 

Myself, I think I'd go with the second option..

I'm still at work! 11-1/2 hours now. Waiting on drawings to print so I can get out of here. Tomorrow isn't looking any better, but after that it should slow down for a little while.

 

Look at it this way..if your at work longer that means more time for the TSD..

 

Facebook - I'm on it, signed up sorta reluctantly, never been tempted by it, but was convinced to sign on by some family members and college friends.
If it wasn't for some of the games, I probably wouldn't check much.

 

But, on the other hand, I have gotten back in touch with some good friends from high school and college that I may have never seen or heard from again, plus kept up on a lot of news and information from local news sources and such.
It definitely has it's share of pros and cons.

 

I got a good shave this AM with my new E injector (see the haul thread). It was a bit rough on my neck, but that might be my technique. Not BBS, but good enough for me. Still, with the DVH soaps, it seemed like the whiskers were just leaping off my face with no effort at all.

 

Good on ya!.. That last time I used one of those was somewheres in the 70's..back when we were hanging out in those woody paneled basement days and listening to Foghat. The blades and those dispensers were everywhere..and so was Foghat...

 

Going to court today to support my wife. This is at the expense of having my new boss frustrated at me. She treats me like some kind of alien anyway, and I don't really care how she feels. I have received bad treatment since I started that job.

Needless to say my priority is my family! And no, I didn't lie to my boss this morning, I just left my wife out of it. The past has shown that when I mention my family, I get in trouble.

So on to court, and hopefully a not to scarring experience.

Today is going pretty well - can't really complain, but I just can't seem to keep my eyes open. I slept pretty well last night, but, man, am I tired. I'm worried about driving home this afternoon. Looks like it's going to be windows down and radio blasting all the way home.

 

Things at court went well for my wife! The drama with this is now over for her...4 years later!

Spent much of the day walking around Midtown (Manhattan) for fun. Mandatory stop at Pasteur's, of course.

 

What a long freakin' day. Reorganized the whole fleet of vehicles for the Squadron starting at 8am....through lunch, while a whole bunch of officers spent the day watching from the sidelines and offering suggestions. I think it's time for a beer.

On an amusing note, 2 guys were charged today for not being clean shaven this morning, so there was a long discussion after that with the troop, and everyone seemed surprised since I was one of the few who were wet shaving and not relying on an electric razor - thus still having a baby smooth face 12 hours after I shaved LOL.
