I see a lot of clean razors with boxes that are just filthy and they do not bring as much when sold normally Those are the ones that I can see the beauty under the dirt and grime and love to restore to the original or close to it beauty.
You did a great job on the clean up, did you use that special treatment that we where talking about on the razor, case, or both?
I use needle nose pliers( the rounded tips used for jewelry making) pushing the rounded tips between the teeth just until they move into place . Just sliding the rounded tips between the teeth like dental floss. I hope this makes sense. being very gentle and they move back into original place . I have done this with at least 10 teeth so far with no breakage or denting of the metal teeth
Just got a basket weave in the mail today. The razor, which I still need to date, and the blade case looks good. The case is in the same shape yours was. I will be trying these techniques to clean it up.
