1. It was sarcasm but isn't 3 or more a group? lol
  2. Nope, two 's a company, three 's a crowd! :p
So it was a crowd buy! :D
Congrats to the crowd an may you enjoy it!
  3. Second package this week:
    The Haul 2012-06-09.jpg

Wanted to try it for a while. Exchanged it with Richard (RichGem) for a DVH stick. :eatdrink047:
  4. If there were enough Proraso Red to go for a group buy, I would promptly soil myself and max my credit card.

  6. All of you suck. Just wanted to state that for the record....:taunt002:

I'll post pics when it gets here, but You all MADE me get the Semogue Cherry SOC boar......

Y'all are so not good for the AD......the wait begins.

Vintagescent.com was pretty inexpensive if I can help enable anyone in return ;)
  7. You'll love it Bob. The handle is my favorite of all my brushes and the SOC boar is my favorite boar followed by the 830. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it, though I know it'll take a while to arrive coming from Portugal. Have fun waiting. ;)

  8. Shawna, don't worry, as a cream it will eventually either run out or dry out.

Gents congratulations but you better use it before the expiration date.

  9. I've already checked the mail twice.....
  10. ARGH! You showed me where I could get it for $20 cheaper, now I may have to reconsider where I'm getting my SOC Badger from!!!!

  11. Remember. I have Palmolive in a tube from the 1950s that I'm still using today. :bounce015:
  12. Justin, Vintage Scent is by far the cheapest & slowest way to get a Semogue brush. If you can wait, then go for it. For faster delivery just check out one of the other usual suspects.
  13. I agree, Vintage Scent will take two weeks to arrive. When I order Vie-Longs from Giftsandcare.com the are in my hands in 5 business days even when I request a special loft on the brush.

However both vendors are great to work with. So I'll keep using them in the future.
  14. I have been trying really hard not to buy this brush... but the price is go good, no don't make me do it battle monkey. For the love of dog don't post any pics in S.O.S with it *sigh*

  15. Checked out a local antique/craft mall and found some locally made pottery, this bowl makes a great lather bowl:

    feb2010 029.jpg
The handle makes it easy to hold even with wet hands. While I was there told the ladies who run it what I was going to use it for and that I was always on the lookout for vintage shaving gear. Anyway I liked the way the bowl worked for lathering I went back to get another one to put in the travel box and one of the ladies told me she had found something right after I left the first time and she held on to it hoping I would be back.
This is what she had found:

Unfortunately it's losing hair faster than me:rofl:

  20. That's too bad that the brush is losing so much hair. Sorry to hear and to see that. :(
