    Smott Chew your shave. Slowly.

I lived in Plano for several years, and, if I recall correctly, Texas' nickname is: "The Lone Death Star State" or something to that effect. [IMG]

Yeah, well, more than one Death Star would be kinda redundant, now wouldn't it?

Read this all before thinking it's not an awesome post. I'm working up to longer runs and went for a 10-miler today, trail running. At about mile 2, I slipped on a downhill and fell, scraping my knee. A little blood, but I walked on it a little and it felt fine. Started running and finished the next 8 miles and felt just fine. Falling for a trail runner is a when, not if. Took my first and showed what I'm made of.

Later in the day, someone who regularly wonders to and fro across the yards and the nearby fields, stops in for a quick visit.

Just watched sherlock 2 and had grilled burgers with a close friend. Also traded in an old washing machine and an airconditioner for almost twenty dollars in scrap. Pretty awesome day!

Wow - this whole Duck/rabbit season" seems to bring waves of deja-vu ;) I wonder why that might be... hee hee

Hmmm so I'm nervous about the interview/trade tes day/ thingy on Tuesday but really looking forward to it too. I just need to have a whole bag of confidence and hopfully I'll be good. The owner told me to "walk in there like I own the place and I'll be great".

As for a daily awesome - my diet is going great. I'm down 9kg/20pounds since the end of January so almost at my goal! Woohooo... I'm doing it nice and slowly as as to be able to keep it off.

I spent the weekend at Lake Ouachita in Arkansas diving and camping on the banks of an island. Spear fishing and sleeping through a massive rain storm was incredible. Truly an awesome weekend

And if you for some reason, don't get the job, just tell your interviewer that he'll have an entire angry shaving board to answer to.

Hee hee... I might just do that "Hire me or you'll never shave in this town again!"

Off topic but does anyone know a good way to get rid of ants in a kitchen on the counters etc. We keep finding them around. I've tried a vinegar wipe on the counters, clove oil around the edges and ant powder on the ground. It works well for a few days but then you either have to reapply or they come back. And We are sick of the kitchen reeking of vinegar and clove! But we don't want to use anything toxic on the food surfaces.

I used a product called Terro ant baits to get rid of mine. I don't know if that is available where you are, But if it is, give it a try. (I got it at a hardware store.)
