Well, last night was the first night all alone in the house. The rest of my family (wife, 8 year old, 3 month old) hopped on a plane yesterday to go visit my Sister-in-law and 7 month old nephew in Oregon. It's kind of bittersweet. It's nice to have a nice quiet house to myself and do whatever I want, but at the same time I miss them already. Only 2 more days to go till they come back on Saturday.

 

About to go to the courthouse to fix a speeding ticket, yay! Also, looking forward to a nice surprise. One of my cousins runs an estate sale company. He left a razor for me at the office. Don't know if it's a straight or safety....can't wait to find out!

 

Uh-oh, sounds like someone wasn't paying attention to the all the signs by the side of the road when they were speeding...

 

I've been a server administrator for about 12 years. Network admin for 5 years, each with varying levels of difficulty. This is the first time in my whole bloody career where I've wanted to beat the ever loving snot out of Cisco IOS as if it were an opponent in Street Fighter 2. I have never seen port security crap the bed so many times for absolutely no reason, 8 of us experienced people on there, and none of us could figure this out yet.

Interim solution? Shutdown the network and go for beer. Monday will be a new start. OY VEY.

LMAO. I would but don't want to replace a $7000 switch Monday I'll be checking the router. If I can't find out what's wrong, step 2 will be "Will it blend?"
