Just watched The Shawshank Redemption with my brother.....great film, definitely one of those films that you've gotta watch before you die.

 

I just watched that for the first time to other night. Yup.. .good movie

 

So that was you I saw on Reddit today. Brave man posting pictures of your wife over there. I can almost hear the wolfwhistles and catcalls.

 

I finally got my wacom pad and gimp 2.8 playing nicely with Puppy Linux! Woohoo! Now I can enjoy working on book covers even more.

Yeah, I was a little weary of what I would get back, but for the most part it was all positive, just people saying too much pressure. But that's why I removed the blade

Speaking of Linux, I just did a theme makeover and it looks awesome! Lol..now I can really see the big X on the window border..

 

I wish I could remember exactly what I did to get those waves... I've done another ship painting that I think the ship looks much better, but I can't seem to get the water right.

 

Nexus 7....maaaan, and I've even got the $199 setting there from overtime last month.... tempting

 

Uuugh...Netflix on Wii hath forced us to upgrade to the new version (the one with kids' option). Been avoiding for months, since updating on living room Wii, was very slow and unresponsive, though it did still work.
Been popping up on the second one for awhile, but with a "no" option, which we chose. Until now, when they took away the option....craaaaap

 

I hate monkeys with attitude problems. They have an annoying tendency to fling unpleasant things at passersby.

 

mmmmmm ... just tried some Takis Fuego chips... yummy... Chilli peppers and lime... mmmmm hmmmm nom nom nom

 

My 8 year old son has gone on on about those things and how he loves them and everyone at school has them in their lunches. I didn't know what the heck he was talking about. "Takis, what's that? Are you sure you are pronouncing it correctly?" Now I know!

It's an awful day at work. I am thinking the company I work for is too big. The sad part is I can't afford to quit because I will need to pay back all my education they paid for. I have a meeting with the boss tomorrow...I hope it goes well.
