Ya know... when I see the queen mentioned, I still think of JoAnna first...

Well, been instructing daughter in her wood working project for 4H. I honestly don't know why she wants to do this project each year. Its not like I have room for tons of woodworking equipment in the apartment. Anyway, we had to make a large sized miter box and then use it to make a wood bench vise. All the pieces are now cut, but after cutting that 2X6X8 at a 30 degree diagonal and angle (which is why we needed to build a custom miter box), she is worn out. Tomorrow let the sanding begin....

 

yeah..... that is annoying. So is the people who have to cut in between you and what you are looking at so that they can stand there looking for something. Or the people that clog up the aisles having long conversations... and the people who pull into the izoom, ipass, etc.. lane on the toll road and try to pay cash when it clearly says in large letters on several signs that there is no cash taken and no people in the booth....

 

interesting evening...sat in emergency room with our neighbor all evening. she's 60-something, slipped and hit her head, has a pretty big knot, but scans showed everything inside to be okay. she's staying with us overnight to keep an eye on her.

At least the all the kids at the skating rink were inside the party room and didn't see it happen......yes, I'm serious She's gone to our kids' birthday parties when we've had them there, and she skated (she's braver than me). today was a skating party for the children's church kids, my daughter told her about it and asked if she wanted to go.

I didn't go, was still working, but my wife called me in a frantic tone, so I hauled donkey the 30 miles to the hospital. She's okay and in good spirits, but some short term memory, concussion, etc., asking the same questions and making the same statements over and over, but at least she's laughing about it.

Still, asking prayers please that everything is indeed okay
